It was still snowing that night. But Adeline didn't shiver any more because of the cold. Now all looks were on here and she didn't know why. 

Astrid was the one who tried to fix this situation so that her friend won't end up thinking she is going crazy. Kellam was mind linking everyone at the table. He didn't know what to do, he knew who this girl was and the only thing that was stopping him from grabbing her was his sister yelling through the mind link that he mustn't tell her anything. But the scent was so strong. Her scent. Maybe that was the thing that both kept Kellam calm and drove him crazy. And in the end he decided what to do. He stood up, while still looking at her and he left. The feeling when he left was so powerful it felt like his lungs are going to fail, like something was suffocating him. But he still drove away.

Astrid tried to play it cool and make her friend feel comfortable but Adeline couldn't put her mind on how she felt about things that just happened. A second after everyone looked at her like she was growing a second head, one of the men stood up like someone stabbed him. He was so tall that se had to look up to see his face. His facial expression was stone cold yet he was still a masterpiece of mankind. His sharp jaw looked like she could cut her fingers on it, three days old beard was looking like he was born to wear it and his hair seemed like a totally new shade of black. But the thing that stood out the most were his eyes, they had so many shades of green and blue that Adeline thought someone painted them. She never saw something like.

"Oh I'm so sorry for that. That was my brother Kellam. Right before you came he was telling us he had to go back to the village for some work that has to be done immediately. I'm sure you can meet him some other time." Astrid tried to play it cool but she was going out of her mind. She couldn't believe Adeline was her brothers mate. How is that even possible if she is a human. Is that the reason she liked her so much when she first met her, because she was her packs luna? There were so many questions swirling around Astrids mind.

"No problem, it is okay. I'm sure I will meat him some other time. Can I join the rest of you?" Adeline asked while everyone nodded. They were still all looking at her. Astrid introduced them and Adeline learned that the man with a scar across his face was Marcus and the man that, even if he was looking at her like she was a freak he had a big warm smile on his face, he was Emron. Two girls that sat beside Astrid were total opposites. One was tall, blonde and had a kind face and the other girl had fire kissed hair but she had a poisonous look on her face. Blonde was Thalia and in the moment she was introduced she stood and shook Adelines hand with so much joy. Red haired was Zella and she just continued to stare at Adeline with a poisonous look. 

After Adeline joined them the conversation started to flow. They even started to have fun, and the atmosphere came to its peak in the moment Zella excused herself and left. Adeline felt like Astrids friends really liked her and it was easy to have a good time with them. But with the alcohol she drank the same picture kept coming back in her mind. Those emerald eyes with threads of sapphires knitted through them. 

Kellam started to feel a little bit better as he was coming close to Eelry. It was his village, it was stationed just outside Northon but it had a little bit more privacy. His people owned Eelry before the man kind even stood foot on this land. Now he owned the village. He owned Northon too but that was besides the point. Northon was just a curtain so they can live a life in symbiosis with normal folk. The village was beautiful, little cottages were everywhere and now while they were covered in snow it looked like fairytale. The pack house was closer to the edge of Shadow wood that kept his pack safe, fed and happy for hundreds of years and all he had towards it was respect.  And now all Kellam needed was this forest to calm him a little bit. 

When he stepped outside the car he saw that many people stood outside their homes and looked at him. He knew they felt a presence of luna. But they were confused on where is this luna of theirs now.

He had too many emotions built up for a normal conversation to be held so he went around and behind the pack house and as he started to ran he shifted. But that feeling was still there. The picture of her in his mind stood still even in his wolf form. She was something else. All stories of mates were based on one fact. Unconditional love and admiration towards your other half. But Kellam knew it was not just that. Adeline had beauty that was not from this world. But there was one more thing that was bugging him. She was human, but there was an aura so powerful he almost believed she was a werewolf at first. His wolf winded, he should be with his mate now. How will he make her fall in love with him, how will he explain the mate thing and how on earth will he tell her about werewolves. Astrid was still with his mate and he constantly tried to mind link her to come home and help him sort thing out, but she was blocking the mind link. His sister always did opposite of what he ordered her to do. Kellam didn't have much power over his sister. She was a free spirit, she done as she pleased and Kellam could do what ever he wanted about it but she wouldn't listen. 

After what felt like hours of running he found himself behind a little house in Northon. Trees were sheltering him as he sniffed the air. He wasn't certain if he knew where he was going all along or his wolf took him there subconsciously. But there it was, a scent soo sweet that drove him crazy. He knew it was her house and he lied down in the snow, his eyes not leaving the house. He felt a little bit more close to her while he could feel her scent so he decided that this was the spot he was going to spend the rest of his night on. 

He will succeed. Adeline will be his and she will be the best luna his pack ever seen. He just has to be patient and smart. 

He will succeed.

Soo here it goes another chapter. It is based more on Kellam thoughts but this is not the end of getting to know his personality. This is just a scratch on the surface. Tell me what do you think about him. And if there was anything you didn't like in this chapter.
