I roll down the limousine window, removing the only tinted protection from the vivid sunlight. The wind brushed against my face, slightly disheveling my hair in the process. I observed the sky as it slowly became darker and darker as we approached the unpleasant atmosphere of the Malfoy Manor. It baffled me how just being within a block of the Mansion can be so unsettling.

"Darling, would you please roll up the window. You're going to mess up your hair." My mother's words snapped me out of my trance and I obeyed, rolling the car window back to its original state. "Why should I care Mum?" I grumbled while placing my elbow on the door handle and resting my chin on top of my hand. "Because we want to be presentable, darling. Now stop arguing and let me fix it." she pulls out a comb and brushes it through my slightly tangled head of hair.

When we arrived, the car door flung open, and in front of it stood a house elf. I smiled politely as I noticed the small creature. As I stepped out of the polished car I slightly adjusted my plaid skirt and black knee-high socks. My hair was curled and a few sections from the front were pulled back, pinned neatly in place leaving a couple of curled strands to frame my face. My makeup was simple, just mascara and brown eyeliner to frame my ocean blue eyes. My chin tilted up to gaze upon the towering ominousness that was the Malfoy Manor.

We approached the elegant front door. My mum knocked for only a few seconds before it flung open revealing a beautiful woman. She was tall and slim, her skin was slightly pale and her hair, a black and white mix, ended just past her shoulders. "Tabby!" She beamed as she approached my mother with open arms. "Cissy!" My mother said as she pulled Mrs. Malfoy into a warm hug.

Then I saw him. The absence of Narcissa allowed vague sunlight to shine into the somber household. It revealed the boy who I had grown to hate over the past year, but there was something different about him. Though it had only been a few weeks since I last saw him, he had grown a bit, and his hair was neatly combed to one side unlike how he had worn it throughout third year. I must say, it made him look more mature and sophisticated. He wore an all-black suit with a small snake pin on his chest. I watched as his eyes focused on his hands, twisting his few rings around his fingers.

All of a sudden, his eyes met mine, and for just a second they widened and almost softened at the sight of me. I gave him a half-smile which he returned before I was abruptly interrupted from my stupor by the sound of Narcissa's voice. "Oh, Merlin. Is this Purity?" She looked at me almost shocked. "My, my you have grown so much in three years," she said, holding out her arms offering me a hug. I smiled and leaned in, wrapping my arms around her shoulders. "It is so nice to see you again Mrs. Malfoy," I say pulling away. "Oh please dear, call me Narcissa." I nod. She gestures for us to follow her.

We walk into the ominous manor, walls a dark green and gray. I remembered the many galas and parties that were held here when I was little. That was actually how I had met Malfoy in the first place. If I may say, he was just as unpleasant as he is now. Their house was very different from Bennett Manor. Our mansion portrayed light and vibrant colors such as white, and gold. The Malfoy's had their fair share of dark and glum shades, making it seem even colder than it was. Though my mother was a higher-ranked witch in the ministry and we had more money than the Malfoy's, we didn't care to own extravagant houses and buy the most pristine clothes just to show off how rich and powerful we were. We use our money for good such as donating to local charities and helping pleading causes in the wizarding world.

Don't get me wrong, we had our fair share of expensive items, and we do gain a lot of money from my father, who can quite literally compel anything he pleases. But we didn't need money to be happy. The Malfoys on the other hand made an effort to show off their money and power every chance they got.
