"He was their friend... and he betrayed them." Harry fumes pacing back and forth. "He was their friend! I hope he finds me. Because when he does, I'm gonna be ready! When he does, I'm gonna kill him."
I look at Hermione and Ron with worried faces. We leave Hogsmeade as Harry keeps an intense expression upon his face. We could tell he was thinking deeply, planning something, something mad. I couldn't help but feel concerned as I do not want him running into a situation that could possibly cause him excruciating pain, or worse, death.
But there was no stopping him, when Harry is committed to something, he isn't going to give up easily. Hermione and I discussed our homework from divination as Harry tells us he is going to meet Lupin. We looked at him suspiciously but didn't push the conversation any further. He hastily strode away leaving me, Ron, and Hermione to head towards the great hall for dinner.
"I hope Harry doesn't go and get himself killed." I fiddle with my fingers. "Knowing him, he will most definitely try." Ron sighs and I place a hand on his shoulder comfortingly. "Well, we better be going to the Gryffindor table before they take away more points than they already have." Hermione gives me a sympathetic smile and I nod. I give them both one last hug before turning towards the Slytherin table. There sat Flora, reading a book while chewing on a piece of bread. Dina and Millie sat across from her conversing, probably about boys.
As I approached them I lifted my leg over the bench but was caught off balance when a foot swiped my right foot off the ground causing me to fumble backward and fall right on my butt. Great, this is embarrassing. I look up slowly, meeting the grey eyes of the one person I hated even more than Professor Snape, Malfoy.
"Aww, that's so sweet, falling for me already, I had no idea you had such strong feelings for me Mikaelson. I mean, surely I'm real flattered and all, but I already have a pet owl, I don't need a dog as well." That was enough for me. I picked myself up off of my butt and adjusted my mini skirt as I stomped towards him. I grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and yanked him closer to me. Anger running through my veins as I spat,
"Oh trust me I have very strong feelings for you, but they aren't the feelings you're implying you foul piece of shit. I may be a Tribrid, but I don't need fangs or claws to beat you shitless!" I shout through the flames threatening to burst out of my skull and burn that smug smirk right off of his face. "What is going on here?!" I look behind me to see Professor McGonagall huffing towards us. Great.
"Sorry ma'am, I was just about to inform Malfoy where I would stick my foot up if he got on my nerves again." I smiled innocently as I shoved him away causing him to stumble backward. Flora snorted from behind her book.
"Oh, dear." McGonagall stared at the two of us with wide eyes. "Well, I hope that both of you will get your problems sorted out before I send you both to detention. Can you do that?" She asks, raising an eyebrow and I nod while Malfoy just scoffs and rolls his eyes. "Good." McGonagall turns on her heels and storms away. I hadn't noticed that all of the attention in the great hall was focused on us. This is just great Pure. "What are you looking at?" I questioned and everybody quickly turned their attention back to their plates. "That's what I thought," I mumbled, taking a seat next to Flora.
"That was brilliant Pure." Flora tries to contain her laughter, but Dina and Millie do exactly the opposite, bursting into fits of laughter. "Why thank you, my fine ladies. It felt good. I just wish he would stop irritating me every waking moment we are around each other. He drives me insane sometimes." I pick up my fork and start eating my salad. I noticed the silence from around me. I bob my head up curiously to see the three of them smirking widely in my direction. "What?" I ask and they all just shrug in response. I roll my eyes and continue eating. They are so weird.
