"Don't little wolf me"
I stepped off of the bustling train into King's Cross Station. "I'm going to miss you, babes." Dina wrapped her arms around me and squeezed until I was at a loss of breath. "Yeah... Me t-to. Dina, Dina," "Yes?" I struggled in her hold. "Dina, I can't breathe," I say and she loosens her grip on me as I release a prolonged breath. "Oh, sorry got carried away." She smiled and I chuckled. Dina towered over my 5'5" figure as she stood 5'9".
Flora hurried beside me. "Pure, here are the books I was telling you about, you must read them all over summer and tell me what you think!" she exclaims and I nod my head slowly, not intending to read any of them.
"I'm going to miss you guys. Write to me?" I ask and they nod. "Of course, Pure. We must plan to meet up at some point over the break." Millie held my hand in hers. "Yes, we must." I gave my three friends one last lengthy hug as we said our goodbyes.
My eyes shot across the station until I felt a gentle hand on my shoulder. I turned around swiftly to meet the emerald eyes of Harry Potter. Hermione stood beside him, wearing an unhappy expression. "I'm so sad I won't be seeing you guys all of the summer." my posture weakens. "You must write to me every week!" Hermione says and I nod. "Oh you know I will," I say grinning at her. "You better write as well Harry." my eyebrows furrow as I cross my arms above my chest. "I'll try my best." He replied weakly. Hermione slaps him on the back of his head which he then rubbed from the pain. "Ouch," he muttered. "He will." Hermione eyes him as I laugh.
Subsequently, a family of gingers walked in our direction, and in front stood my favorite redhead. "Ron, It has been wonderful being friends with you." I give him a tight hug and he happily obliges, wrapping his arms around my back and squeezing gently. Ron and I had become quite close over the school year. We had a lot in common, seeing as we both love food. Sometimes Mione would scowl at us for eating so much.
"I'm going to miss you, you have to come to visit us at the burrow," Ron says as he releases me from his hold. "Oh my, is that Purity?" I look behind Ron to see a slightly taller woman, with curly red hair cutting off just above her shoulders. She was wearing a long-sleeved yellow dress that cascaded down ending just above her ankles. "Mrs. Weasley?!" I ask as a grin spreads across my face.
Molly pushes past her children to indulge me in a warm hug. "Pure, my dear I haven't seen you in ages! Look how much you've grown!" She pulls away and rests her palms on my cheeks, examining my face. "You've grown to be so beautiful, just like your mother. Isn't she gorgeous Ron?" She looks at Ron anticipating a response, but he shifts awkwardly as red rises to his cheeks. "Uh, Mum." He slightly whined and I chuckled.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't the wicked witch of the burrow." A voice I recognized all too well grew louder as it approached us. Mrs. Weasley turned her head and I followed her example to meet the eyes of a tall, powerful, beautiful, woman. Also known as, my mother. "Well, well, well, if it isn't the wicked witch of Bennett Manor." Molly taunts back. They then give each other long-lasting hugs as if they hadn't seen each other in a lifetime. "It's so good to see you, Tabitha." "And you Molly."
My mother looks over at me to which I smile. "Mum!" I exclaim as I wrap my arms around her. "I'm glad you had such a wonderful year, darling." She reaches over and strokes my hair. "I did, all thanks to them," I say pointing to my lovely friends. "Is Father here?" I question my voice laced with hope. As I even do so much as mention him everyone stiffens in fear. "No, I'm sorry darling he couldn't make it." She gave me a sympathetic smile as mine fades into a frown, my eyes filled with disappointment. My friends, on the other hand, all sight out of relief. I roll my eyes at their foolishness.
