As the golden light surrounded him Arthur felt the same type of energy as the boom tube that he had traveled through many a time, had one of the league come to his aid? Red tornado perhaps, batman ?

No this golden light was something else, he exited the warp in a familiar place, the watch tower, but something was wrong, everything was dark

The only light came from a glowing figure with their back turned to him, all he could see was the back of a golden helmet and a golden cape that swirled around the figure hiding any other features

"Fate, what happened to the watch tower? No, never mind that return me to adlantis, I must defend my home"

Fate simply held up one finger to silence him before making another symbol for turn around never saying a word

Arthur turned and looked out the window to see something very different from the sight that normally greeted him

Out the window that viewed the large expanse of earth he saw a world completely swallowed by ocean , the view then glowed and shifted to a different earth, this one looked scorched and dead, then another and another until aquaman saw nothing, no stars, no earth, nothing beyond the view

The king was smart enough to figure out what was happening

"That woman, she came from one of these worlds didn't she?"

He saw the back of the helmet move in a nod

"Why is she In my world? What quarrel dose she have with my people? "

Fate again held up one finger as light began to grow around the helmeted figure

Harley was oddly excited as she road in the batwing with Batman and without hand cuffs

The windows were completely blacked out so that she had no clue where they were going to hide the identity of the bat

The batcave had always been something she had wanted to see but she had always imagined having to sneak her way in not being given a ride Batman

She looked down at her little clay boy who nervously sat in the seat next to her

"Hey y/n, how you holding up?"

Y/n looked up at her with big scared eyes and could barely utter a word in response

Harley just smiles and offers her hand which the child took eagerly holding it for comfort

"So bats, any clew what's going on?"

Batman didn't say anything at first

"Oh batsy, I'm speaking to you, baty boi, Batman, Batman, Batman

She annoyed him enough that he turned and glared at her, the glaare of Batman was one of the few things that caused your body to physically react against your will, Harley immediately shut up and looked down

"What's happening is a group of villains simultaneously attacked multiple places on earth and....the league has been dropping like flies, these enemies know us all so well, inside and out, and the seem to mirror one or another of the league members."

He sighs and looks down
"We've lost most of the teams heavy hitters, we've lost aquaman, the flash, cyborg and green lantern. Superman is still fighting with something that resembles doomsday"

"Wait he's fighting that thing again? The one that killed him?"
Cat woman asked raising an eyebrow

"Healing coma that lasted a few day's, but he's fighting something like that, but this one is.... different, it's certainly smarter "
