Catchers p.o.v

We had headed back to marks car and we both got in. When mark got in and had his seat belt on I leaned over and kissed him. "I missed you" I told him. He looked me in the eyes and whispered "I love you". I was shocked but only for a minute before I said "I love you too". He kissed me again and then we drove out of the parking lot. "Am I taking you to nicoles?" Mark asked. I nodded even though right now I wanted nothing more to stay with him. Mark reached over and grabbed my hand and held it in the middle of our seats. I watched mark watch our hands but out of the corner of my eye I saw a car heading towards us. "THERE'S A CA...." I shouted but I didn't get to finish because it was too late. I heard a large smack. "Mark?" I asked. He looked so dazed and his window was broken. I realized we were still holding hands and then I felt the car tilt on my side. I screamed as the car landed on my side. "MARK!" I yelled. He wasn't answering and I started freaking out. "Hello!?" A voice yelled. "Are you alright?" They yelled again. "Help!" I yelled. "Please my boyfriend is hurt!". I yelled again. "Catcher?" The voice answered. I felt a spark of recongnization. Who is that. I saw a figure run around the car through the windshield. "Evy?" I saw her as she crouched down to look through the glass. Evy looked different. Instead of her fiery red hair she had blonde hair but it was definitely her. "Its ok catcher. Help is on the way" she told me calmly. I started relaxing but then I smelled gasoline. "Evy what's that? Is that gas? Is it spilling?" I started going through all the questions in my head. Evy saw me freaking out and then she started to freak out to. "Oh my gawd catcher the gas is spilling. Oh gawd what do I do?" She started yelling. "Evy!" I screamed. She got quiet. "You need to get mark out. Right now!" I told her. "But what about you?" she asked. "I'll get out after him" I told her. "Evy you need to hurry I don't known if the car is going to catch on fire or what". I said. "How do I get him out?" She asked clearing terrified. "Break the windshield and pull him out" I commanded. She nodded then dissapeared. She came back a minute later with a crow bar. I tried to cover my face as best as I could as the hit the glass out. I reached over and undid marks seatbelt trying to not let him fall but with the car on the side it made it difficult. "Here" I told her and tried to move mark towards the broken windshield. "He's too heavy" Evy said. "Please Evy please just get him as far away as possible I'm going to try to get out now" I pleaded. She nodded then started dragging mark away. When she got out of view I tried taking my seatbelt off but it was stuck squashed under the door and I couldn't get it loose. I saw a light behind me and turned my head to see. Hopeful that it was help finally arriving my heart sank when I realized it was flames and not lights. Evy came running a second later "catcher get out now". She said voicelessly. "Tell mark i love him" I said with a tear running down my face. She looked confused and I continued "tell Nicole and Hailey and Alex I said the same and that I wouldn't trade them for anything" tears were running down both our faces. "Go for it with Alex by the way" I said with a smile or at least I tried to. "Catcher just come out you can make it" she pleaded. "I'm stuck and I can't get out. Now leave before the car explodes and we both die" she hesitates and I scream "just go!" She runs and I let my tears run down my face. "This isn't how its supposed to be" I thought. "We were supposed to be together forever. With our friends. Forever." I thought and then I realized that mark would get all of that but I wouldnt. "I love you" I whispered as I felt the car shudder then felt extreme heat I screamed in pain then I began to feel numb. Then I felt nothing.
