"Umm hey" I said as Mark "Hi" Mark said. We are quiet for a minute. I glance at him and at the same time he does the same he looks away quickly and I get a small smile on my face. "This is awkward" I thought. "Is there something you wanted?" I asked Mark. He catches my eyes and says "uhh... Yea I was wondering if you were busy today for like the tutoring thing" "crap do i tell him? No he won't understand." "Yea I actually am sorry" I tell him. I feel a little bit guilty about not telling him about Evy. Mark looks I don't know sad, relieved, happy and dissapointed? All at the same time. Marks looks me in the eyes and nods "ok I'll talk to you later then" he gives me a small smile and then walks away. I look at the time and sigh as I see that i only have 15 minutes to get there. I start walking and when I get there I sit at a bench near the entrance of the park. I take my phone out of my bag and text Evy "are you coming?" I listened to music while I waited for her reply. I got her text a couple of minutes later "just got here. Picked up some Starbucks for us :)" I watch her walk into the entrance a couple seconds later carrying two cups and her bag. She sits across from me and sets a cup in front of me. "Its French vanilla" she says. I smile because its my favorite. "Thanks" I tell her. "What do you want to do first?" She asked as she pulls out a note book and a pen. "I don't know whatever, you're the tutor" I told her. Evy then started explaining the basic algebra to me and before I knew it a hour has gone by and she then had to go home. I gathered all my stuff my stuff and threw my empty cup away. "Thanks for the Starbucks by the way." I tell her as we exit the park. "Its OK but next time your paying". She said it with a smirk and I was couldn't decide if i was intrigued or disgusted by her. "Let's keep this tutoring thing between us okay?" I tell her when we get to her car. "Umm sure?" She said with a puzzled look. "Do u need a ride?" She asks me. "Uh No" I said with a sharp reply. "OK well I'll see you later" she then drives off and I start walking home. It takes me a while to get home but I don't mind. I usually walk everywhere anyways. When I get to my driveway I pull my ear phones out of my bag and plug them in. I makes sure the music is loud enough so other people can hear it and I walk into the place I dread going.
