So uhh it seems like Chloe has debuted as a trainer... So the entire point of my rewrite is gone qwq. So right now, I'm wondering if I should  do like instead of Ash its Sophie or just write about Sophie's own journey through Kalos and Alola

A day had passed since Misty had challenged Sapphire, which means the next few battles were taking place. Unluckily for Sophie, this meant that she would have to go retrieve Sylveon from her parents.

'Remind me again, Master.' Lucario said, perking Sophie's attention. 'Why am I doing this?'

"I need Sylveon. I want to use her for battle today."

'What about just asking your mother? Surely, she will just give you Sylveon. We don't have to sneak in, you know.' Lucario grumbled, opening the window of her parents room.

Currently, she and her Lucario were levitating off the side of the hotel everyone was staying in for the competition.

"For one, she doesn't need to know why I'm in bandages, and two, you don't even know half of what my mom will do." Sophie groaned, scouting out the room before her eyes glowed blue.

'You really don't like confrontation, do you?' Sophie rolled her eyes, lifting Sylveon up and dragging her out of the room. 'I'll take that as a yes.' Lucario face-palmed before beginning to slowly let the trio down, that is before a pink light surrounded them.

"Uh oh..." Sophie gulped, feeling herself dragged back into the room. Standing right in front of her, ocean eyes bore through her soul.

"Care to explain?" Came her mother's harsh, yet gentle and concerned voice.

Leon returned his faithful Charizard and stared at the monstrosity above him. Hammerlocke Stadium, which he passed by earlier, was emitting a blood red glow. He had entrusted Chairman Rose to take care of Galar while he, Goh and the rest of the Gym-Leaders were requested for the Masters Tournament.

Well, that trust had been shattered, or at least, was beginning to crack. "Dearest Rose, what the bloody Arceus are you planning?" Leon muttered.

Fists clenched, Galar's champion stepped into Rose Tower, intending to fulfill the request of the Chairman, and give him a piece of his mind.

Sophie sat awkwardly under her mother's gaze. "First, what were you thinking going into an Airship alone?"

"I wasn't alone." Sophie said in defense. "Goh and our Pokemon were there with me. Plus, you know with first-hand experience that both you and dad would do the same."

Serena sighed. "You know, you're right, we would have done the same, but sweetheart, you're 13." Serena cupped her daughter's face and brushed through her platinum hair.

"I know, mom." Sophie averted Serena's caring gaze. "But, didn't dad sacrifice himself at least 5 times throughout his journey...before the betrayal? I'm pretty sure he was 10 when he first ran into Mewtwo and Mew."

"That can't be helped, you know your father's recklessness, he would easily tear through hell to save you. We all have a certain amount of life, so don't try to act like your dad, okay? And don't think that I haven't noticed those bandages, honestly, stop getting yourself into trouble."

"I'll..." Serena glared at her. "...Try." Serena clapped her hands in delight.

"Okay, second, about Sylveon."

'Huh? What about me?' Sylveon abruptly cut in, shaking herself awake, licking Sophie's wrist affectionately. 'I missed you Sophie. The day was really quiet without you.'
