Chapter 9: A Flashback

Charlotte was released in the morning she ran straight up to the ravenclaw common room and got fresh robes after she changed she sat down on her bed. she was still tired "Charlotte!" Someone screamed from behind her in a cheerful voice Charlotte got up off her bed to see who it was "Lydia I'm so happy to see you!" She said giving her friend a long hug then all the things Harry told her the night before came rushing into her mind and she let go "I'm tired Lydia you go down to breakfast and I'll take a shower to try and wake up" said Charlotte "ok fine but don't expect me to save you any food" said Lydia grinning at her little joke then she ran off

~flash back to yesterday right after running out of the library~

Lydia finally started to slow her pace she had run past every corner she could find to make sure they lost her she was almost sure they had but she thought just one more to do the job so she ran at full speed down a hallway and made a sharp right turn almost slipping. Suddenly she crashed into something at first she thought it was the wall then she saw a flash of platinum blond hair "you should look before speeding around corners in a occupied castle" he grunted getting up then he turned to look who it was that ran into him a smirk spread across his face when he saw it was the ravenclaw Lydia "didn't know little ravenclaws like you hung out near the dungeons?" Malfoy said his smirk getting bigger "holy Merlin did I run that far?" Said Lydia more to herself than anything "stop flirting and get away from me Malfoy"she said he laughed then she started to get up then Malfoy extended his hand "what are you playing at? First you hex my best friend to eternity then you crack jokes,flirt and try to help me up? You're sicker in the head than I thought you were" said Lydia getting up herself and ignoring his outstretched hand he merely smirked. Meanwhile down the hallway harry ran looking for Lydia they had all split up to search he heard voices down the hall he couldn't make out what they were saying so he casually walked closer to the corner what he saw almost gave him a heart attack Malfoy standing next to Lydia having a conversation he decided to stay and spy a little two could play at that game couldn't they? "Your plan isn't working" said Lydia sort of mater o' factly "well your plan doesn't seem to be worked either" he retorted "Harry's going to get you for what you did" said Lydia calmly "oh is he? What about you?...are you going to get me" he said the last part a bit sarcastically by wavering his hands in the air Lydia paused "no" she said plainly not meeting his glare that was all harry needed to hear and he ran off back from where he had came to tell his friends and go to the hospital wing and tell Charlotte but he hadn't heard it all "no I'll leave you to harry" said Lydia ending the conversation and turning around "after this" she added quickly while turning around she made a fist and hit him right in the gut and ran "and don't you ever flirt with me again" she yelled back smiling "YOU GIT!" She heard him scream it only made her smile broaden.
