chapter 12: Breakfast

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
Mia quickly shot up from her bed and turned off her alarm as to not wake the rest of the girls up. She tentatively checked the time, 7:00am , breakfast had just started, she looked around the room to see that Trisha and Poppy had left but Tazzy was still sound asleep. Mia tentatively climed out of bead and made her way to the bathroom. She quickly had a shower placing a muffling charm on the door as to not wake Tazzy and so that she could also sing in peace, not caring if she didn't bet a specific riff right (it was a rare occorance that she ever messed up her sinning however she always liked to be cautious) since only she could hear herself brushed her hair and teeth and got changed into her uniform. As she made her way back into her dorm she found that Tazzy was still asleep. Mia decided to ignore her and grab her school bag and leave. She made her way down the steps of the girls dorm passage into the common room witch was filled with life, unlike last night. She quickly scanned the room to see if she could find a friendly face but non of her friends were there so intsed she made her way to breakfast on her own.

"Mia!" Called a voice as mia was makeing her way to the great hall, "hey hermonie, how are you?" Mia asked. "Im great its good seeing you hear though, I normaly have to eat breakfast on my own since the boys wont wake up, but now I can sit with you," she paused, "that is if you want me to sit with you, I understand wanting to sit with someone else its no big deal..."
"I would love to sit with you hermonie, no ones else I would rather sit with actually," hermonie smiled,"great then its settled," hermonie said. "Im sorry about yesterday," hermonie said cautiously before continuing, "by the way that tazzy girl doesnt know what she is missing out on," mia smiled at hermonies comment. "Thanks 'monie real shame that happened when it did though thought, even though I've only known you for a little while I'm realy glad we are friends its realy tireing beening the only smart person I know," mia stated as hermonie giggled as she composed herself enough to for a coherent sentence "Me to, I've always been intrested in your story in a way since most proffesors dont have children and I was also curious to how life must have been and you must of picked up on a few tips from your dad you are exelent at potions if I do say so myself, you also seem sweet but I guess that one of the resons you are in hufflepuff." Mi alaughed before responding to hermonie "ive kinda always wanted to be your friend if im being honest you seen cool," mia said genuinely. "ive always wanted to get to know you better and find out how you got 100% on our end of year potions test! honestly you are amazing," hermonie stated truthfully. As the girls walked to the great hall together they continued to butter eachother with complements talking occasionally about the academic achevements that they have each recived.

"Griffindor table or hufflepuff?" Hermonie asked, "griffindor there is a certain hufflepuff I do not want to run into..." hermonie nodded her head as they waked to the slightly empty griffindor table. "No one gets up early in our house, most of them may be hung over from last nights 'welcome home party griffindors only'" hermonie said in a mocking tone, "yes it was a mess inthe end... Elizabeth wasnt happy that the twins (her best friends) had banned her from the party that she helped prepare, so expect a prank war soon. And ginny wasnt happy that her best friend wasnt allowed in so I think she spent the night in the ravenclaw common room, neve that slytherin girl wasnt allowed in even tho she is friends with the twins... oh and olivia was also upset that her girlfriend luna wants allowed in so I think she joined ginny in the ravenclaw common room and thats all the falling out and drama to do with the party."
"That sounds like allot," mia paused before deciding wether or not to add the next part, "was the party any good though?" Mia said hushed with mischief shining in her eyes. Hermonie looked taken a back for a second before answering, "I mean it was alright but when you are trying to sleep at 3:00am for classes the next morning and you can hear music its not great. The girls laughed, "but yes it was quite fun I suppose, that's also one of the main resons that the boys are up yet," hermonie added before amending, "well that and the fact that they are emotionally attacged to there beds."

The morning went smoothly as hermonie and mia continued to talk as they ate there breakfast. "What your first lesson then mia?" Hdrmonie asked, "defence agenst the dark arts, with our new professor,"
"Same," hermonie said, "do you recon he will he a good teacher?"
"Well lets face it no one can be worse than lockhart last year,"
"Yeah I guess you are right." The girls continued to talk about there theories about the new proffessor and how it was weird that he arrived on the hogwarts train and didn't move into hogwarts in the summer. Proffessor lupin was the one teacher that mia knew nothing about, and wondered what secretes he was hiding. Mia prided herself on knowing everything about every teacher so that she rarley got into troubble since she knew there weeknesses, she had never blackmailed a teacher before however she knew how to approach the situation if she was to get in troubble with them, but lupin she knew nothing about, absolutely nothing. With that parting thought mia and hermonie made there way to there lesson without seeing harry or ron at breakfast.

A/N: I am awere that this is a short chapter but I diddnt want to go streight into the DADA lesson so yeah that will be the next chapter then probably a time skip with a potions lesson (draco), then time skip to hallaween, then a DADA lesson and a Tazzy drama( ron), then run up to Christmas (ron offering for mia to stay at the burrow insted of staying at hogwarts), meeting the other weasleys (BIG TWIST), Christmas eve at the burrow (weasley family game night!!!), Christmas day (weasley jumper!), back to school (find out said twist and how this changes allot) and then the rest is still to be decided but I have a rough plan so yey
