Send Me to Hell

Chapter Six

   The month was almost over. Dread had been filling his heart as each day brought them closer to the end. Would she choose to remain with him or leave to her after life? She had gotten fluid in speaking english, only reverting to her native language in times of increased stress. His ex had shown up while he was sorting souls to antagonize Nila into trying to follow her out the door. How she had figured out that Nila could not leave, he did not know. The only good thing was that she had been able to remain calm enough to remember that she was unable to step over the threshold, however this ended with her resorting to throwing things through it at Seira, nailing her right between the eyes with a decorative stone sculpture. He had wanted to remain calm and in control when she had stormed through his office door with a giant hematoma marring her forehead, bitching that he was required to do something about the assault she had suffered. He held it together long enough to ask why she had been on his property without permission, only losing it after she began to sputter through her answer.
   He was sitting at his desk at home, going through endless files it seemed. Part of his responsibility as King was to deal with disputes, child naming and the like. Even though he was in the realm of death didn't change that the inhabitants had lives like other realms. He scrubbed his face with his hands as he glared at the stack of requests before him still waiting to be sorted to a folder. A soft knock brought him out of his internal ramble. He cleared his throat before granting admittance. Nila walked in, balancing a silver tray of various things as she closed the door behind her. She set it down on the edge of his desk before looking at him with a sparkle in her eye. He held his hand out to her as she walked around his desk to take a seat in his lap, resting her head on his shoulder.
"What is it Nila?"
"The month is almost over with and I fear your ex is going to try something else before it is up."
"I have been getting a feeling of dread as well. I don't suppose you have any ideas for this, would you?"
"Well... Just one idea but I do not think you will agree with it."
"What is it?"
"I know what my decision is. It is close enough to the end of the month maybe we can skip this last week and just make the decision now?"
"I don't know. What if that week is the deciding factor that sways the decision? You will hate me for not insisting on waiting."
"Lucifer, in just the last 3 short weeks, I have dealt with realizing I was killed, had to learn English to understand people here and dealt with your psycho ex showing up. What else could happen in a week that would sway my decision?"
"Well, I don't know but I don't want you to decide you made the wrong choice."
"I haven't made the wrong choice. It has been the same since the beginning, through everything that has happened. I want to do this now."
"You aren't going to give this up are you?"
"Nope. I am a warrior which makes me extra stubborn."
"Ok then. Well what is it then?"
"I want to stay with you Lucifer. I want to be able to leave these walls to go to you when I want to. I see your legions training and yearn to join in on it. I wish to be able to help. My choice has been and will always be you."
   He let the breath he wasn't even aware he had been holding go. With shaky hands, he gripped her around the waist and burying his face into her hair at her admission. He had hoped and prayed that he would hear those words. She was choosing him! He stood with her gripped in his arms. He slammed open his office door, carrying her towards the bedroom. He passed one of his staff telling them as he walked that he was not to be disturbed. With a loud bang, he shut and locked the door. He stalked towards the bed, depositing her before ripping his shirt off and climbing up shoving himself between her thighs. The purr he heard only spurred him on further as he felt his hold on his control slipping. He dipped his head, taking her lips in a heated kiss that sent lava burning through his blood stream to pool low in his gut.
   A soft mewling came from her as he tore the shirt off her to get his first glimpse of her silky ivory skin. He left soft kisses from her lips, down her jaw to her throat and moving lower. His hands trembled as he worked the button of her jeans that she had decided to wear that day, pushing them from her hips. He could feel the heat from her core scorching his skin as he licked her nipple. His hands drifted down, dipping into her core as he teased her. Her head thrashed around the pillow as he kept his attentions going. He could feel her getting close to release as her body began to vibrate with need. The wave crashed through her suddenly jack knifing her off the bed as he loomed over her as it went down to rippling. He positioned himself between her thighs. He kissed her as his hips surged forward, planting himself to the hilt inside her gripping heat. He groaned at the feeling as she cried out at his invasion. He felt the bite of her nails in his back as he slowly pumped himself in and out. Instinct took over his mind as the urge to mark her surged toward as his pace began to pick up. He held himself up with one arm as he planted his hand against her chest, heat emanating from his palm. He felt the jerk as he left his mark on her chest. His pace got faster as he felt the tie weave them together. He could feel the wave building in her as his spine began to tingle with his impending release. He melded his mouth to hers as the wave crashed through her, tightening her walls in a strangle hold on him. With a roar, his release took over him, filling her. He collapsed against her with panting breathes. Sweat made their skin gleam in the light as he rolled, taking her with him. He remained buried inside of her, satisfaction rumbling through him as the deed was done. She bore his mark on her chest. He was a mated man now and he couldn't have been any happier than he was right in that moment as they both drifted into slumber.
