Chapter 9

Matthew's P.O.V

I feel so bad for leaving April

I completely forgot that we had a movie to catch and that she was even there with me

Wow what great friend I am

Right now I'm waiting for Madeline to get out of the bathroom

As I was waiting I saw a kettle corn stand in the distance

Yum

I was about to walk there until I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket

I took it out and looked at the screen to see that I got a text from April

April: Matthew it's okay, it wasn't your fault I understand that.your right I did over react but I'm fine and there's no need to apologize I'm not mad

I smiled at the fact that April actually forgives me

As I was about to text her back Madeline came and hugged me from my waist resting her chin on my shoulder

Whoaa a little touchy aren't we??

I wiggled myself out of her grip and kept on walking as she walked beside me

She's a nice girl no lie, but too touchy for me. She claims to be a huge fan that's been there for me since the start, yet when I ask her since when did she start supporting me she stays quiet

I was about to start typing to send April a message until Madeline snatched my phone from my hands

"Hey!" I said and snatched my phone back turning it off and stuffing it into my pocket

"So is she your mom or somethin?" She asked in a rude way

"No she's a friend" I answered blankly

"Well she sound a lot like a mom would sound"she said in a mean tone while she chewed her gum in an obnoxious way

"I think we should go, it's getting late and I have plans" I said as we kept walking

She took out her phone and went to the camera app

"Let's take a selfie together!" She said as she took my arm and swung it around her

We made it to the parking lot

"Well it was nice meeting you" I said as I took my hand out so she could shake it

"Uh-huh"she simply said with her eyes glued to her phone

"Well,bye!" I said as I turned around and walked the opposite direction

"No Matty don't leave me!!" She yelped running behind me

"Matty?" I said in an annoyed tone

"Yea cute name huh? I like it for you" she said as she smiled at me and kissed my cheek unexpectedly

"Yeaaa....cute" I said in a nasty tone as I wiped my cheek and made a gap between us so no touchy things go on

We ended up waking to the mall

"Well we're here" I said as we stood in the entrance of the mall

She just Looked at me and handed me her phone

"What?" I asked confusion stirring in my voice

"Put your number in" she said blankly

"I'm sorry I can't do that, I don't know you well enough" I said with a fake disappointed expression

"Okay I'll do it then" she snapped reaching into my pocket and pulling my phone out

"Hey!!" I yelled at her trying to get my phone back

She turned around not letting me access her hand that held my baby

I tried to grab her and take my phone out of her hands but she just wiggled out of my grip

This went on for a little longer until her phone started ringing

She quickly handed my phone to me

"There" she panted

I looked at her in confusion

"Now I have your number" she said as she showed me her screen that said that she got s missed call from my number

"Bye Matty" she said as she kissed my nose and ran off
