Y/N, Jeff, and Eternal Feather helped Soul and Maka fight against the Witch Cat Blair, result of the mission ended up with them failing after realizing that Blair was a Monster Cat and not a witch, however, bigger problems began to stir as Mai began to feel their relationship is drifting apart, Jeff is now dealing with his past as he starts hearing a familiar voice, and a certain guest began to stay with them for the rainy night... however, as for today, something happens as things go for the best and worst as a specific Snake turns their eyes on a Fox

Mai POV

I woke up as my alarm went off, I clicked the alarm clock off on the edge of the bed and yawned as I stretched

Mai: *rubs her eyes* *sighs* The last night was tough, but we managed to make it through, still...

Flashback...

I was talking to Y/N behind the store about Jeff staying with us

Mai: Look, I'm not sure if I'm okay with this

Y/N: Are you doing this again?

Mai: No I'm not saying I don't trust you or him, it's just that what if we were caught having a serial killer living with us, we'll be locked up for that

Y/N grabbed both of my hands and looked at me

Y/N: Look, Mai, I know it's crazy but I have to do what I have to do

I pulled from him and yelled in his face

He was shocked at what I said

Mai; I made a huge mistake being with you

Mai: Seriously, you must've known that I never tried to trust you until now *tears up* you're siding with him

Y/N: I'm not

I slowly pushed away from his grip

Mai: What the hell do you mean by saying that?

Y/N; I said that the decision of sparing Jeffery was my only choice. I'm aware of all the sins he did but I think he deserves another chance.

Mai; So the reason is that he must deserve another chance, I don't know what you're saying but that's bullshit

Y/N: Look, Mai, I couldn't care less if he was killed or not. But I'm aware that Jeffrey Woods is going to be guilty of his crimes but I want to save him, trust him or not I know that he wants to be a free man

Mai: Y/N, IF YOU WANT TO SAVE JEFF AND MAKE HIM BECOME A FREEMAN, THEN WHY WOULD YOU JUST DO IT YOURSELF!?

Y/N; I want to help him but I can't do it alone, I just don't know what he wants to decide: to be guilty or not guilty

He looked disappointed, I just looked at him as if he was crazy
