{19 Years Ago, 19 BBY}

Obi-Wan stood next to Padme as she was in labor, trying to comfort her.The sound of Padme's crying was the only thing heard for a few moments. Suddenly the sound of a baby crying filled the air, drowning out Padme's cries. She gasped and tried to calm down. Obi Wan looked over at the droid, a baby boy on the blanket was in its hands.

"New birth. New birth." The medical droid said in its own language. Obi Wan looked down at Padme as he showed the baby boy to her.

"Oh Luke." She said before she cried out again. Obi-Wan looked at her, scared. He tried to calm her and Luke by making a 'sh' sound as the medical droid mumbled 'Oomba Oomba.'

"Is it a boy or a girl?" The droid said, the question was very inaudible except to Obi-Wan.

"Its a girl-" He replied before being cut off.

"Leia." Padme cut him off. Her voice sounded tired and slightly weak, clearly from all the screaming and crying during childbirth.

{1 Year Later, 18 BBY}

Obi-Wan had been in hiding for 1 year now. He had ran from everything he had devoted his life to because of Anakin turning into Darth Vader.

He ran from The Jedi Order, or what little was left of it. He ran from Order 66 to survive, just like Yoda had done. He ran to Tatooine to watch over Luke. He changed his name to Ben Kenobi. He also found someone he loved with all of his heart. Now they were about to share that love with their child.

Ben sat next to the love of his life. He was trying to calm her as she screamed in pain from labor. Just like he had with Padme just before he had to go into hiding. An old medical droid helping get the baby.

"Adyli, love. Come on its alright." He whispered, stroking her hair. Her cries being mixed with that of a baby's.

"Sir." The droid called, carefully holding the child on a beige colored blanket. Ben looked up and grabbed the baby from the droid and showed it fo the woman.

"Jaydin..." She whispered, a loving smile resting on her tired face. Ben smiled down at the baby girl, now known as Jaydin.

"Sir for reasons that I'm unsure of, it appears that she is losing the fight to stay alive." The droid said. Ben looked up from the child and looked at the droid before looking at the love of his life.

"Adyli. Come on stay with us." He whispered, bringing the baby closer to it's mother.

Adyli looked over and put the back of her hand against the baby's cheek. She looked up at Ben.

"Remember... Remember that I love you so much Ben. I-I love you both..." She whispered before lowering her hand and taking her last breath.

In just a year Obi-Wan/Ben had lost everything, his closest friends, the love of his life and everything he worked so hard for. Anakin, Padme, the Jedi Order, and now Adyli.

He looked down at the child once more. He smiled a sad smile, stroking her cheek. The one thing he has gained and not lost.

Her cries slowed and began to get quieter as if she knew what had happened, that she knew she was one of the good things still in his life. Ben finally knew what her full name would be. The name Adyli wanted along with the name of one of his dearest friends.

"Jaydin. Jaydin Padme Kenobi."
