The Basics (Feel Free to Skip)

Just wanted to explain some concepts in my version of the omegaverse to y'all as well as share everyone's subgender and sexual orientations- maybe some character notes too:

So first off, this is a typical omegaverse setting, but just to clarify, here's some random facts-

- Soulmates typically smell sweeter or more welcoming to each other than to the rest of the world and pleasurable sensations that would be normal with a regular person are magnified by like a thousand with a soulmate, so the sex is crazy

- Soulmates don't necessarily have to be in a romantic relationship, though they usually are because it increases fertility

- Because I'm a giant sap, everyone has a soulmate out there, even the aromantics, even the betas, but the most ideal pairing for fertility's sake is true alpha x true omega

- The neck is a highly sexualized spot on a person's body in an omegaverse- looking at it is okay, but touching someone's neck is a sign of intimacy, sexual or not- touching it with your hands is like groping someone, putting your nose on the scent glands there is a sign of affection which may or may not be sexual given the context

- Pulse points- each wrist and both sides of the neck- are scent glands. Usually when I refer to a "scent gland" it'll be the one on the left side of the neck, which is where the mating mark typically happens. Scenting is usually done with the wrists.

- Aight so for the gene descriptions we're gonna call the alpha chromosome A, the beta chromosome B, and the omega chromosome O

- All alphas, regardless of gender, have the ability to impregnate anyone of any gender as long as thy are of another subgender, all have typical human male reproductive systems, tend to have rougher, more dominant scents, considered highest class

- Dominant (true) alpha is AA, submissive alpha is AO

- All betas are scentless, can be impregnated by an alpha or can impregnate an omega regardless of gender, but within the beta class only males can impregnate females, genitalia depends on gender in the same way a regular human's would, middle class

- Dominant beta is BA, true beta is BB, and submissive beta is BO

- All omegas, regardless of gender, can be impregnated by someone of a higher subgender (that has a male reproductive system), has a female internal reproductive system but a male's reproductive system is accessed through the anus while a female omega's system is accessed through the vulva, bottom class

- Dominant omega (basically a power bottom) is OA, submissive (true) omega is OO

- Lol dominant omegas don't really exist in this fic

- Male omegas are in the bottom 2% of the population and are even lower class, they're basically genetic mutations because the omega gene is a recessive gene carried on the second X gene, which is usually given to females and very rarely to males, caused by translocation of the gene onto the Y chromosome

- Sorry if this is getting sciencey I'm like super asexual and don't understand the attraction of sex so I can describe it okay but I have no idea why people like it lol it's like why did people find bodily fluids so gross in elementary school but now they find fluids attractive?? I remember when saliva was something we laughed at

- I understand romantic attraction tho, being biromantic-curious and confused

- Katsuki Bakugou: True alpha male, pansexual homoromantic

- Eijirou Kirishima: Sub beta male, homosexual biromantic

- Momo Yaoyorozu (aka the love of my bicurious ass's life): Sub alpha female, bisexual homoromantic

- Kyoka Jirou: Sub beta female, homosexual biromantic

- Ochaco Uraraka: Sub alpha female, heterosexual heteroromantic

- Iida Tenya: Dom beta male, bisexual biromantic

- Just for fun, Hanta Sero: Dom beta male, asexual panromantic because he's Mina's soulmate and therefore they're best friends but it doesn't go farther than that
