Crystal wasn’t sure that she liked plan three, but she was glad that she only had to do it once. Suzie was the last one to convince and if kissing Jeremy in front of her was how she had to do it, and then she would do it. Of course, Crystal was afraid that some of her feelings for him would spark back up but Joy would support her through it the whole time.
First, they had to stake out where Suzie and Jeremy were constantly going. So far they noticed that they were constantly going to the coffeehouse now that he and Miranda were broken up.
Upon the breakup, Miranda’s been shy and she hasn’t been in contact with any of them. Joy attempted a couple of times but she didn’t really care that Miranda never responded to her. Instead, she hung up and thought of other things to do. Crystal thought that she just needed some time to recover from everything and would be back eventually.
When Crystal and Joy entered the coffeehouse, they saw that Suzie and Jeremy were in the back booth. Hopefully, Jeremy would order something so that Crystal could corner him. Then when Suzie was about to come over, she could kiss him while she noticed.
Therefore Suzie would break up with him.
“Too bad Kriey’s not here.” Joy smirked at Crystal and drank her coffee. “She would’ve loved to see this.”
“We didn’t even tell her,” Crystal remarked. She rolled her eyes and barely made the decision to actually go through with it.
“I have to go!” Jeremy said. Crystal watched happily as he escorted himself out. “Leah, Sheila, Darla, Lindsey, and Miranda want me to meet them at the mall, but I’ll give you a ride home.”
Jeremy smiled at Suzie and he put his arm around her as they walked along.
Neither Crystal nor Joy got up and chased after them. Instead they were both shocked that Miranda was still a part of the popular group. Joy thought that once she left Jeremy that she would automatically forget about them. Apparently, Miranda was still cold on the shoulder and wouldn’t forgive them that easily.
“Do you want to follow them?” Crystal asked cautiously.
“Yeah, but not to spy.” Joy quickly threw her cup away and they ventured in her repaired car. She quickly put the air on high and turned her radio down low.

Crystal was the first one to realize that Jeremy was cheating again and that he was lying about meeting Miranda at the mall. When Crystal showed Joy, she didn’t believe her until the girl on Jeremy’s arm waved back to him.The two walked over to Crystal and Joy and they had no choice but to say hi back. Avril’s been missing lately and it explains it that she has been hanging out with Jeremy. Joy wondered how long the two have been dating but didn’t want to question it too much.
The thing that struck Crystal was realizing that she had to kiss Jeremy twice instead of once. Why was Jeremy intended on bringing down their friends? Why not anybody else’s group?
“Hi, guys.” Avril quickly said hi to both of them and hugged Crystal. “This is my boyfriend, Jeremy.”
“H-how long have you two been dating?” Crystal asked.
Avril looked up at Jeremy and he nodded back. “First, we should get some lunch. I’m hungry.”
Trying not to anger Avril, they all went along with it and sat down at the table together. Avril volunteered to get the food and before Joy could shout it out, Crystal volunteered too. Those two went and got food and they weren’t concerned at how long they were going to be.
“Hello, Joy.”
“Don’t talk to me.”
“You’re going to have to. Avril will know something’s up when her friend doesn’t respond to her boyfriend.” Joy thought about it for a moment and realized that he was right. “Besides, since we’re alone I have to ask you something.”
