I was getting ready for the party but it was taking much longer than it actually should. My mind was still on what happened at Stiles' house.
Scott wouldn't hurt us? He wouldn't hurt Allison, right?
I sighed and hurried up getting changed as I promised I would get there early for Lydia.
I didn't take my skateboard this time because it didn't want to carry it all night and because I need to lose a few pounds.
I straightened my hair and decided put on some natural makeup. I glanced up at the clock and saw I was indeed running late.
When I got to the party, I was greeted by a tipsy Lydia who slung her arm over my shoulder.
The party was almost full and there was barely any room to move about.
"Hey, you didn't tell me who you were talking to early." Lydia questioned and I could feel my face getting hot.
I thought she forgot about it.
"It was just some boy who gave me his number, no biggie." Suddenly the floor became interesting as I kept my head down with blush rushing to my cheeks.
"Come on you can tell me. What's his name." Her voice sounded like she was sober even though she wasn't.
"His names Brett. I met him last night but he doesn't go to our school." I mumbled while Lydia gasped.
"Hey Lydia, come get a drink with me?" We both turned out heads and saw Jackson standing there with a smirk on his face.
"I'm gonna go find Allison and Scott, bye guys." I waved at them before going on a hunt to find the almost couple.
It took a couple of minutes to find them but I eventually did by the door, because they just entered.
"Hey you guys how's the date so far?" I asked in a sing-song voice and a big smile.
"It's going great, what about you Scott?" She asked him but he seemed to be zoned out.
I nudged him and he seemed to snap out of whatever daze he was in.
He mumbled a 'good' before Allison took his hand and led them outside while I stared at him with concern.
I then looked up and realised the full moon is starting to get to him so I better keep an eye on him.
The party was now in full swing and everyone was either drinking or dancing.
Lydia and Jackson were making out on a pillar in the corner while Allison and Scott danced with each other lovingly making me feel extremely lonely.
I saw Scott walk away from a worried Allison in pain.
I hurried over to Allison to ask if she was ok but she just kept looking at the spot where he walk off.
I told Allison I'd be right back and ran to find Stiles.
"Hey Stiles, you see where Scott went he just ditched Allison?" He nodded and I followed him trying not to get lost within the crowd.
We ran outside to see Allison talking to Derek which was not good.
Before we could do anything, Allison got in his car and they head off to hopefully her home.
"Hey I'm gonna go find Scott you gonna be fine getting home on your own?" Stiles asked a bit concerned but I only nodded and told him to go and find Scott.
Too worried to stay at the party, I headed on home. Half way to my house though, I got a phone call.
"Hello?" The phone number wasn't saved so I was a bit cautious. "Ke-Kelsey it's Br-Brett. I need your help." He said through breaths.
"Hey hey hey ok where are you I'll go there right now." I asked panicked that something really bad had happened.
He told me he was on the road by my house so I sprinted as fast as I can.
When I got there I saw him holding on to a wall to keep himself steady.
"Brett?" I called softly not wanting to sound to rough.
He looked up at me but something was different.
His eyes weren't the same blue ones I was I staring at the other day, they were golden.
Like a werewolf.
I gasped and he started mumbling this sentence over and over again calming him down. Once he was breathing at a normal pace, he looked at me with his back to there original colour.
"I know you probably think I'm a monster but I didn't know who else to call. Please don't tell anyone about this and I won't speak to you again." He breathed out while I still stared at him.
"Brett, your not a monster, your a good guy and don't you ever think differently." He gave me an unconvinced look so I carried on. "Werewolf or not, your still Brett Talbot. Your still the funny, charming guy I met the other day."
With that, he walked over to me and gave me a tight hug. He buried his head into my neck and cried quietly while I rubbed his back.
We stood like that for a couple of minutes before breaking apart.
We looked at each other with small smiles on our faces. I didn't even realise we were leaning in until we were centimetres away.
Just when our lips were going to connect, I turned my head so he kissed my cheek.
"Sorry but I don't kiss on the first date." I gave him a cheeky wink before walking off.
I stopped though when he called me back.
"Trust me, this isn't the first date."
