"Jackson!"
Allison had immediately ran towards Jackson to see if he's ok while Stiles was being held back by Scott. Lydia was now whimpering into my shoulder, unable to watch.
After receiving a stunned look from Allison, Stiles begrudgingly dug his phone out of his pocket and called his dad. Unfortunately for us, it was his voicemail.
Suddenly the doors that were barricaded with the chairs we stacked up began to shake, making me and Lydia scram towards the others, hands intertwined.
The nails and bolts began to fly off the door, clattering to the floor as we watched in horror.
" The door out of the kitchen leads to the stairwell." Stiles said, not taking his eyes off the door. Scott began to protest but we were in no position to argue so we obeyed and ran out the door in time.
We ran up the stairs, Lydia and I connecting our hands with Allison on the way, and hurried into an unlocked science room.
As soon as Scott put a stool underneath the door, we all were silent with the exception of our almost synchronised pants.
We held our breaths as a snarl from outside the door could be heard. My hands, which were still connected to Lydia's and Allison's, clenched tight and my light brown eyes shut also.
"Jackson, how many people can fit in your car?" Scott asked as soon as the noise outside had stopped.
"five, if someone sits on someone's lap." Allison scoffed at this and said that she barely fits in there when it just him, her and Lydia.
Scott and Stiles then both rushed to the door that apparently led to the fire escape, devising a plan for a quick exit. The rest of us stood there, praying that they've found a way out of this god forsaken place.
"The janitor has a key, I can go get it." An audible gasp from beside me was heard as Scott said that. He rushed towards the door until Allison went in front of him.
"You can't go out there unarmed, Scott!" Another gasp was heard, but this time it was me. Everyone stared at me as I pulled out my hand gun from earlier.
"Kelsey, why the hell do you have that, are you out of your mind!?" Scott pulled me over to one side after seeing everyone back up slightly.
"I have it for protection, Scott, now I know it won't do much damage but take it, for Allison's sake." He stared at me for a few minutes before hesitantly taking it.
"... self-igniting molotov cocktail." Lydia said slowly as we joined the group once more. "It's like a fire bomb, so now Scott will be double armed.
Lydia then walked over to the cupboard which had all the ingredients to make this fire bomb. Unfortunately, it was locked, fortunately though, Jackson shattered the glass by punching it.
Lydia then got to work on this cocktail while the rest of us watched in awe. "Jackson, hand me the sulphuric acid." He comes across two bottles and hesitates before handing over one of the bottles.
As soon as it's done, Lydia hands it to Scott. Allison then begins to protest, with tears in her eyes, fighting for her lover to stay.
It was hard to watch their fight so I turned my head away, with a pang in my heart after hearing Allison's tearful pleas.
I knew Scott was going to leave either way so I wasn't surprised when he told Stiles to lock it behind him. With a click of the door, Scott was gone and Allison was now facing us with a defeated look.
I opened my arms and she practically fell into my embrace. Her sobs were the only thing heard in the room as we all took a seat on the floor with our heads bowed.
It was silent until Allison spoke up. "I don't get this, I don't get why he's out there, I don't get that he's left us, and i can't stop my hands from shaking.
Surprisingly, it was Jackson who soothed her by grabbing both her hands in his and talking to her in a soft voice.
Me and Stiles shared a pissed off look before our gazes turned to Lydia. My eyes softened at her face and I could practically hear her heart breaking. I slide towards her and held her hand, which I could tell was much appreciated.
Another round of silence surrounded us until Lydia's voice broke through. "Jackson you handed me the sulphuric acid right, it won't ignite if it's not." This definitely increased our worries.
"I handed you what you asked for, didn't I?" He snapped in Lydia's face. She didn't flinch at his tone but I could tell it definitely hurt to hear him speaking to her that way.
A loud growl shook through our bodies like electric and our nerves were now spiked up. Jackson fell to his knees, growing in pain and grabbing the back of his neck.
The girls rushed to help him stand up but he denied all of their help. Stiles, being curious nerd he is, goes to spectate what's on Jackson's neck but is swatted away.
Lydia then began questioning what it was but she got another snappy answer in return. My hands were clenched at my side until I felt a hand on top of my fist. Stiles shook his head saying no, knowing Jackson was about to be seeing stars again.
Stiles tried to ease the tension between Lydia and Jackson while Allison clutch onto my arm. "Where's Scott, he should be back by now?" She then began biting her nails, a habit she had when she's nervous.
We heard a snap from outside so we all turned our heads in sync, surprising we all didn't get whiplash. Allison was first to the door but was unable to open it. Scott had locked us inside.
Allison began banging on the door and screaming Scott's name until Lydia Shushed her. "Do you guys hear that?" We were all quiet and were met with radio silence at last.
A police officer came in and escorted us out and we all went out separate ways. Jackson and Lydia went towards his Porsche, Scott and Stiles stayed with Sheriff Stilinski, while I stayed with Allison.
"Hey, I know this is a stupid question but, are you ok?" I asked Allison with a small run of her back. She sighed and let out a shaky breath before answering me.
"Why would he leave us, why would he leave me." tears welled up in her eyes once again but she refused to let them spill.
Scott then screamed her name and came running towards her. I broke off from them but not too far away so i couldn't hear them. Stiles then ran up to me, calling my name like Scott did Allison.
"Hey, Scott asked me to give you this." He looked around before handing me back my gun which I lent to Scott. I chuckled and took it and attached it to my waist.
I looked back up at Stiles, our brown eyes connecting before I pulled him into a hug. At first he was stiff because he didn't expect it but gently started to embrace it.
We released one another after I saw Allison walk towards where her dad was parked. Without a word to Stiles, I smiled at him before I ran to catch up with Allison, who i was riding with.
I climbed into the car seat and thanked Mr Argent for picking me up. As he began to drive off I saw Scott's heartbroken gaze on Allison, who was also trying not to break in front of her dad.
The ride to my house was short, because of how empty the roads were at this time of night. I climbed out the car, thanking Mr Argent once again giving Allison a pat on the shoulder and a sad smile.
As they drove off, I noticed a figure standing on porch. I was about to pull out my gun but Brett stepped out of the shadows and revealed himself.
His hair was slightly messy and his eyes showed worry and nervousness. He stepped forward and brought me into a tight hug which knocked the breath out of me.
After about a minute, he pulled away. "What happened, I wanted to hang out with you?"
"You don't wanna know."
