A/N: i know the actual team they play isn't devenford prep but let's just pretend it is. Enjoy the chapter :)

After hours of clothes many tears and items of clothing being flung in my face, We were finally ready to go to the game.

When we pulled up, a lot of people were looking at me and Lydia. I thought that maybe it was because of the breakup but after hearing the wolf-whistles, I could tell what the reason was.

I saw the Devenford team on the field practicing and getting ready while our team was either on the bench or in little huddles of their own.

I discreetly searched for Brett and when I found him, I couldn't help the soft smile that was blooming on my face. I watched from afar as he lectured his team.

His eyebrows were knitted together and a determined smile lit up on his face. It amazed me how into his talk this boy was.

After they dispatched, I waltzed onto the field and gently tugged Brett's hand. He looked down towards me and led me to the back of the bleachers.

He smiled at me with his ever so attractive smile and I blushed. "Come to wish me luck, princess?" He teased and I playfully scoffed.

"In your dreams, Talbot. Just wanted to get once last look at your face before it gets destroyed, pretty boy." I smirked and he leant in forward so I could feel his breath hitting my face.

"Whatever, now, do I get a good luck kiss from the prettiest girl in Beacon Hills." He teased once more and my breath hitched, but I wasn't about to back down.

"Yeah sure let me-" That was when I felt it. His soft lips on mine, fit together so perfectly you'd think it was a puzzle. I put my hands round his neck while his rested on waist and pulled away, foreheads.

"I gotta go. See you later princess." He removed his hands from my waist and ran off to join his teammates on the pitch.

I stood there, dazed and as confused as ever. Then it dawned on me. I had just kissed Brett Talbot. I had just kissed Brett Talbot and liked it, loved it even.

Completely forgetting about Lydia, I walked over and said next Allison and her family who were waving me over. I felt bad for leaving Lydia but as soon as I saw her flirting with this boy, I knew she'd be ok.

"Which one's Jackson?" Allison's aunt Kate asked. Allison pointed him out and Kate started commenting on his looks. There was no denying he was a good looking boy, it's just a shame his personality doesn't match.

While Allison talked with the people in front. I found myself listening to the conversation that Kate had started with Chris.

"Can you get turned by scratch?" She said in a hushed voice. "If the claws go deeper enough, yes." Chris responded to her in an even quieter voice.

I followed there eyes to see what they were looking at and saw two scratch marks on the back of Jackson's neck. It took me a moment to piece it together but when I did, my eyes shot to Scott, who was already looking at me.

I searched his eyes and that's when I knew he knew. They fault the beta was Jackson. They thought Jackson was Scott.
