A/N - ASK QUESTIONS!!!

John's POV

I glanced at Alexis and smiled lightly. We've been quietly playing Minecraft for a couple hours now and I'm sure she's getting hungry. It's been a little awkward since I told her what happened after I heard she was hurt but she doesn't seem upset. "What are you thinking about?" I asked randomly, she paused and sighed.
"Just...About what you said." She mumbled. "Why didn't you tell me?"
"I don't know. I just-...I felt stupid." I shrugged, she glanced at me and killed a sheep.
"You shouldn't feel stupid for having feelings and being upset." She mumbled. "Who told you you couldn't?"
"My dad...Martha." I shrugged, Alexis sighed and we fell silent. The only sound in the was the clicking of our mouses and the clacking of the keys.
"You should break up with Martha." Alexis grumbled after a minute or two, I frowned and she huffed. "I know it sounds selfish because I'm a girl so I have to be after you but I don't care. I don't want you to break up with her for some personal gain. It's like you're only happy with her when you aren't with her. It really doesn't seem like you're happy with her and I just really don't like seeing you upset."
   "We're fine." I smiled.
"You always say that but it really doesn't seem like it. Do you-"
"Alexis!" She jumped a bit and I huffed. We fell silent again and she just stared at her screen. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to get mad. Just-...Drop it? Please?" She didn't say anything, she just kept gathering food. "Are you hungry?"
   "No." She replied stiffly.
"Oh, c'mon. Talk to me? Please?"
   "There's nothing to say."
   "Ale-"
"You said 'drop it', I dropped it. It's your turn." She snapped. I sighed and reached over, turning off her PC. "Why?"
"Because. You're mad at me and I'm sorry. I didn't mean to yell at you and I didn't mean to upset you."
"It's fine, John. Can we just play?"
"You're right. Is that what you wanna hear? You're right. I know you are."
"Then why are you still with her?"
"Because she loves me. I love her." I smiled, Alexis raised an eyebrow and sighed.
"If that's what you think." She sighed, turning back to her PC and reaching for the button. I took her hand instead and she frowned.
"Come here. I wanna show you something." I smiled, tugging her out of her chair. She sighed and complied, letting me help her up.
   "Where are we going?"
"Shush." I smiled, taking her out to the terrace. "Ta da!" I beamed, presenting the view to her. She smiled lightly and looked out over the city.
"It's very beautiful." She smiled, I chuckled a bit and leaned against the concrete barrier.
"I really didn't mean to upset you." I sighed.
"I know. I'm just trying to help." She mumbled, leaning against the barrier. I wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her a little bit closer.
   "I know. I just-...I want you separate."
   "Separate?" I nodded and sighed.
"Martha likes to try to push all my friends away and you're my best friend. I'm not gonna lose you." Alexis smiled and leaned against me. "Do you want lunch?"
   "Um...Sure."
   "What do you want?"
   "What do you mean?"
"I'm gonna order something, what do you want?"
"Oh! I thought you were gonna make something." She mumbled.
"Very funny. I've never cooked a day in my life." I sighed.
"Then I'll teach you." Alexis smiled.
   "Uh...I don't have food."
"How do you not have food?"
"Ok. I have a bag of Doritos. I don't know where to get actual food."
"James says it's like Nevis. You have to find stop and shops." She smiled.
   "Uh...What is that."
   "I'll show you."

"Hello! Do you have any noodles?" Alexis asked the cashier of the third place we'd gone to.
   "Uh...Yeah. In the back."
"Thank you!" Alexis chimed. "Stay put." She smiled, heading to the back. The cashier leaned over to another worker and grinned.
"Ella tiene un culo realmente bueno." He snickered in Spanish, I paid no attention to it and got my card out as Alexis set the noodles on the counter. "That's it?" (A/N - She's got a really fine ass.)

"Si. La próxima vez que coquetees con una chica, muestra algo de clase." The cashier went white and Alexis smiled sweetly. I frowned but paid for the items and followed Alexis out. (A/N - Next time you hit on a girl show some class.)

"What was that?"
"He made a comment about my butt." She sighed.
"Oh...Your butt is very nice." I hummed, pulling ahead of her and smirking. She glared at me and shoved me. "What? It's the truth!"
   "I fucking hate you."
"Aw, how sweet." I smiled, she huffed and looked through our groceries. "Hey, do you get hit on often?"
   "No...That was a first."
"Oh...I'm sorry he did that. He was just a douche." I sighed.
"That's ok." She smiled. "I think we've got everything. Ready?"
"Yeah." I smiled. Someone bumped into her and she yelped, almost falling over. I grabbed her and pulled her to my chest. "HE-"
"John, please. It's not worth it. It was an accident."
   "Are you ok?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. Just tender." She smiled, I sighed and started toward the parking lot. I kept her close to me and she didn't say anything about it. I helped her into the car and put the groceries in the backseat.
   "Are you sure you're ok?"
"I'm fine, stupid." She giggled, I chuckled and started driving home. "Do men in America hit on girls a lot?"
   "Only the creeps." I chuckled.
   "Are you a creep?"
"No!" I laughed. "One of the first things I said to you was 'I promise I'm not a creep'."
"I know. I was messing with you."
