It is known that kids need to socialize and make friends, but since Drake and Karla, feared the worst for their little human, the only Furries that Y/n was only able to be around with were his grandparents, Ashley, James, Sarah and his cousin, Ethan. There were close calls where Y/n was almost found out that he was a human when they were in public even though he had to wear a hoodie, jeans, gloves, shoes even a mask to cover his mouth. Karla knew the risk in taking him out in public since she knew she couldn't let him be inside the house forever even though he had video games to entertain him, but sometimes that wasn't enough since she and Drake, watch him starring out the window looking at other adult Furries playing outside with their kids and having fun. Y/n would ask to go outside to have fun, but he would get the same answer which was a 'No' even also from James and Sarah. Y/n would sometimes cry for all he wants to do is make friends to play with and not train in martial arts almost everyday and be stuck at home playing video games or watching other Furry children run free.

Right now it was Fall season and little Y/n is 10 years old now and again he was in his room sitting on his desk chair and starring outside his window watching the Furry kids playing outside jumping into a giant pile of leaves all happy. How he wished he could be friends with those Furries, but he can't since his parents won't allow him.

(Knock. Knock)

He looked at the door and saw Karla, entering the room wearing a yellow sweater, grey sweatpants and holding 2 cups of hot chocolate.

"Hey, sweetie. I brought you some hot chocolate with tiny marshmallows." She mentioned with a caring smile

Y/n just turned the chair to Karla's direction and took the cup.

"Thanks, mom." He said sadly

Karla, didn't like seeing her son so sad, but she knew what was the reason on why he was sad. She picked him up and sat down on his bed and she sat him down on her lap.

"Honey, please don't be sad." She said before giving him a kiss on his head

"I just want to make a friend, mom." He said before getting off of Karla's lap

Y/n set his cup on his desk and sat back on his chair and went back to stare back outside the window.

It broke Karla's heart seeing Y/n like this.

"Honey, you know you have your uncle James, aunt Sarah and your cousin Ethan, right?" She asks

Y/n just looked at her over his shoulder and stare back at his window. Karla, stood up from his bed, placed her cup on the desk and knelt down in front of him.

"Y/n, you know we're doing this to protect you. Other Furries won't know how to take the news that a human is alive today. Please understand that." She pleaded softly and held his face in her hands

Y/n looked at her in the eyes for a brief moment before going back to looking back outside. Karla knew that this was hard for him, but she was doing the right thing. She got up and started to leave for she didn't want to bother him anymore.

"It's not fair." He said sadly

Before she could completely leave, she looked at Y/n who was now sobbing softly.

A special day has arrived and that day is where 11 years of learning martial arts pays off and Y/n becomes a master of both Muay-Thai and Jiu-Jitsu. Right now he was proving himself against his aunt Sarah in a sparring match, and Sarah, was reaching her limit for she was getting exhausted. Sarah threw a reverse elbow strike, but Y/n dodged it by moving back and by doing that he landed a strong heel kick to her right rib cage. A huge jolt of pain ran through her body that it made her drop on one knee and clutch her right side with left hand while she raised her right hand in defeat.
