Evan
"Look who finally got over his fear of heights," David claps proudly as I slip my board down the steep ramp. The male was sitting by another ramp, calm and collected like always while my head was clouded with panicked thoughts."You'll do great in LAST tonight," He adds sweetly.
A faint smile brushes my face as jump from the ramp and sat down on the rail next to him.
"I don't think I will, my parents won't take me because I'm supposed to be grounded and I don't have a licence to drive. How am I gonna get there?"
"I can take you, I know how to drive and I can access my dads' old car."
I glare at him. "How many laws do you wanna break in one week? You don't even have your licence, I neither."
"Trust me a little, will ya? I'll get you there and back in one piece... hopefully," David explains confidently. "What kind of boyfriend would I be if I didn't?"
I smirk, lighting patting his chest. "A sensible one."

I sit patiently at my desk, staring intently at the skateboard sticking out from under my bed. Anxiety crept up my spine as I tap away at my phone.

How are you, Evan? Are you almost here?I ogle at the text for a moment, thinking of a reply. Before I could type, my bedroom swings open.
Mom was at the frame, a toothbrush in her mouth and wearing pj's. She gives me a weird look, pointing with her brush at me.
"Why are you all dressed? Jeans aren't exactly comfortable to sleep in."
I jump nervously, swinging around on the chair. "Oh- Uh, I haven't been able to change. I've been busy with homework."
I instantly feel bricks in my stomach. I really didn't like lying, especially to people I care about.
She furrows her brow but eventually shrugs nonchalantly. "Alright."
As my bedroom doors close, I flinch in surprise at a ding from my phone. The message was from David.
David❤️
David
Look out the window ;)I gape at the message but hurry to my window that had a view over the street. As suspected, David was there leaning against his car. However, I couldn't really see what model, as the night sky darkened every inch of the street.
