Evan
"I want to go back to bed...." I grumble, my body limps against my bag and the car seat.

"Get an education first," Mom snaps back.

I grew tense as a large plot of land with buildings came to view with high school students scattered around it.

"Now, puke all your anxiety and insecurities into Mr Baggy." Mom orders as she parked just outside the gates and held out the familiar plastic bag with two googly eyes glued to it.

"Mom we haven't used Mr Baggy in like seven years..." I told, placing the bag back into her handbag. "I don't need him."

"Are you sure?" She queries with a worried sigh as I use all my courage to ready my bag.

I really just wanted to turn back and go home to sit down on the couch, curl into a nice blanket and binge Netflix.

But I need to get an education or some shit like that.

I swallow thickly as I dug my nails into my palms to ease my stress.

I grasp her hand and hold it for dear life. I knew she thought I was comforting her but I really was just latching onto her in case I collapsed.

"Okay, we'll see how today goes and if you're not up for it tomorrow we can go shopping," Mom chuckles as I stumble out of the car.

My legs were wobbly under my weight as I feel my stomach churn with all sorts of emotions.

"Okay, good luck then hun," Mom calls from the driver window as I proceed to walk off.

I gave her a reassuring smile before padding into school grounds.

Students bump into me as I tread through the paved courtyard.

Kids were mingling with each other, totally oblivious to my existence but I still kept my face glued to my feet.

The sound of the bell pierced my ears as I feel my heart drop as students began to crowd to get to their homerooms.

I whip out my phone and check my schedule.

"Homeroom 9D then English," I say shakily to myself as I follow the signs with arrows pointing me onwards to my destination.

A body sprints at me from behind, sending some of my books and phone to the floor.

I feel my heart drop to my stomach as I sensed eyes watching me as I crouch to my haunches.

"Oh Jesus! I'm so sorry," I take a glance at the male helping me collect my things and gape my jaw as it was the same stranger from yesterday.

We made eye contact for a second before the stranger grinned.

"Hey! It's you from yesterday! The one that fell into the fountain?"

"Yep, that's me..." I trail my voice sheepishly as the male stuffed my things back into my arms.

"Cool! What homeroom are you in?" He questions eagerly.

"Uh.. 9D."

"Whoa! We're in the same class!" The boy cheers before halting.

"So that means you're new?"

I hid my rosy cheeks and glance away. "Uh yeah."

"Ah, don't sweat, it's actually a good school, it just gets very.. wild during break time," The male laughs, strapping his bag over his shoulder again and signals for me to follow.

I offer a small smile and travel beside him.

"I'm Evan," I introduce myself, holding out my hand.
