On her way to level 7, the female shadow Lieutenant swiftly runs through level 6, sliding to a stop in the gym. She eyes the scene of the three shadows approaching Drake who is still oblivious to their presents.  She quickly realizes why he had not heard the alarms as he is wearing advanced noise-canceling headphones.

She sighs. "This does not seem fair! He should at least have a chance to defend himself.. the screams of pain are better that way!" She says, her childish voice again transitioning to a demon growl. She acrobatically moves past her fellow shadows and comes up behind him and quickly removes his headphones. "Dude, the least you could do is pay attention to your surroundings!"

Drake turns around quickly with a side chop, but the Lieutenant ducks to avoid it, slowly standing straight, and steps back a few steps.

"Dude, watch it! You could take a normal person's head off with that shit!" The Lieutenant chuckles playfully.

From Drake's point of view, he looks around seeing three human figures moving towards him, but their body heat suggests they have been dead for an hour at most. He looks to where the voice came from but sees nothing. "Is.. someone there?" He asks confused.

The Lieutenant leans forward-looking into his eyes. "Are you incapable of normal sight or something, mister?"

Drake nods, his eyes dart around in an attempt to narrow down the source of the voice. "I can only see thermal images."

The Lieutenant shrugs. "Well, I gave you a fighting chance. That is as far as I participate. I have a mission to complete!" Her voice slightly transitioning into a demonic growl.

Drake takes a fighting stance. "You must be one of those demons. Rocky told me about your boss, Lucifer."

The Lieutenant smiles and starts to walk past him, pocking him on the forehead. "Listen.. you're kinda cute!" She says with a giggle. "I would have fun with you myself, but I am a little busy!" She growls demonically.

Drake follows the voice. "Compliment aside, I am not sure demons are my cup of tea. Besides, I can't even see you!"

The Lieutenant stops and looks back with a smile. "Think you could handle seeing me?!"

Drake nods.

From his point of view, a humanoid image of pure bright red suddenly appears before him, standing eight feet away from him. The bright red is quickly accented by white eyes and a white smile, indicating that those spots are much hotter than the rest.

"Damn.. your body heat is much higher than any other I have seen before!" Drake comments in surprise.

The Lieutenant chuckles. "I bet you say that to all the demon women you meet. Regardless, have fun!" She then disappears in a mere second.

Drake looks back at the three cold heat signatures. "Is this 049's doing? Sounds like his MO."

Suddenly one of them extends its arm, although Drake sees it should be nowhere close to hitting him, at least twelve feet away. Drake clenches his teeth as he feels something stab into his right bicep. He backs up, feeling what seems like a blade slide out of his arm.
