38- Lock & Load

As the strength contest between SCP-2845 and 2317 continues miles from the facility, the group makes their way to the 05 council's chamber. At the door, Abel and 096 seem to be having a staring contest, dazed and confused as to where they are.

Rocky walks up to 096 with a smile. "You okay, buddy?"

096 nods silently.

Abel slowly gets up from a cross-legged sitting position. "What are you doing here?" He growls at Rocky.

Rocky turns and glares at him with grey eyes. "Trying to save the world. Are you going to help or are we getting into another fight?"

Abel glares back. "I.. have not decided.." He groans.

Mere seconds later Iris walks up behind Abel and puts him into a playful headlock. "OH! You're helping, or I'll kick your ass three times around the world! You understand?!"

Abel looks away from her chest which is now in his face. "Yeah.. yeah.."

"A pole or the equator?" Rocky asks with a 

"Oh, I don't know!! I thought I would start in Los Vagus and work my way north!! Any more questions?!" Iris says sarcastically.

"If we are done mocking each other..." 049 says as he approaches. "Lucifer has fleed, and I sense a new evil 300 miles to the north."

Sasha approaches from the left hallway.

"That must be the Scarlet King then." Rocky replies.

"I have no doubt Lucifer will not be far behind." 049 says, stretching his arms.

"So.. are we going to stand around or go save the world?!" Sasha asks, putting her hands confidently on her hips.

"It is not that simple. The MTF has mobilized an airstrike. If we rush in now, there is a good chance we will all be killed in the process." Dr. Clef states as he arrives with Lawrence and 999.

"Babe.. Did you forget I'm indestructible?" Sasha asks, grabbing Clef's arm.

Dr. Clef chuckles. "I guess I'm too used to being the protector in a relationship."

Sasha smiles up at him. "That is okay!"

Cain tries to stay out of Abel's line of sight, hiding behind Dr. Clef, but 999 begins reaching for him which makes him move into Abel's line of sight.

"YOU!!" Abel roars as he draws his sword and steps forward.

Iris quickly gets between them. "YOU DON'T LISTEN DO YOU?!" She shouts at Abel. "You are not starting shit unless you want to go through me!"

Abel points over Iris's shoulder at Cain. "But.. he killed me!"

Iris steps closer to Abel, getting in his face. "Him and everyone else in the last millennia. Do you want to work up that long ass list of people? Cause I'll add one more!!" She growls back, putting her hand on her handgun.

"Iris.. that is really unnecessary." Cain says, slowly waving his hands.

Rocky can't help but chuckle. "You got balls, Iris!"

"Much like a human trying to train a hungry lion." 049 whispers to Rocky.

Iris turns to him. "BOTH OF YOU left me ALONE and running for my life from those shadows!! I think I have every right to be mad at you!!"

"Can we please just get this over with!!! I have a daughter whom I would like some quality time with!" Dr. Clef groans.

"I second that!" Sasha adds.
