The next day, a group of guards accompanied by Rocky, Cain, and 049 escorts the now human Scarlet King into an interview room. His white hair sways back and forth as he looks around frightened and confused. The group of escorts stand by as the old man and Doctor Therman enter.

One of the guards leans over to the other. "Isn't this a little overkill?" He whispers.

The old man sits across from the strange man, turning to nod to Cain.

"You're correct, Jeff, go take a break, we have it from here." Cain says to the guard.

The guards look at each other confused.

"Which one of us are you talking to?" The guard asks.

Rocky rolls his eyes. "For God sacks, you are all Jeff, just go take a break!" He says waving his hand.

The guards shrug and leave the room.

The confused human Scarlet King turns to Rocky. "I'm sorry.. did you say.. they are all Jeff.. as in...."

"As in they are all one person, yes. Jeff is an SCP capable of duplicating himself. They share a hive-like mind which makes them perfect for the role of guards. Of course, his official record is not visible to anyone outside of the 05 council, and his cooperation with that fact is very much appreciated." Rocky explains.

The man leans forward cupping his head in his hands. "I am only more confused than before!" He groans.

"Explain to me how you know all these things!!" The old man demands.

Rocky smiles. "I had Claudia (SCP-347) grab your access card so I could figure out a solution to your foundation's problems."

The old man crosses his arms. "I can't tell you I am happy with your methods, but the end result seems to have been well worth it.."

The confused man looks up. "Would someone please help me understand what is going on?!! Where am I, what the hell are those creatures?! This is insanity!!"

The old man sighs. "You are in a facility controlled by the SCP Foundation. Our mission is to Secure threats/ anomalies (SCPs), Contain them in facilities such as this, and Protect humanity from their anomalous abilities. You happened to be contained, in a nearby facility, as SCP-2317 which we now know to have been a greater threat known as The Scarlet King. Tell me, what is the last thing you remember before you reawoke as your true self?"

The man looks down thoughtfully. "I remember being jumped by a group of people dressed in red robes and secured to a alter." He looks at the palms of his hands, rubbing them lightly. "It appears I have healed from that ordeal."

"By secured, what do you mean?" The old man asks.

The man looks up. "They.. nailed me, through my palms, to a crudely constructed wooden altar."

"Why wood?!" 049 asks curiously.

The man looks down again. "After what seemed like an eternity of merciless torture, they poured something on me and lit the altar on fire."

"So he was a ritualistic sacrifice to bring 2317 into reality." Rocky comments.

"Is it possible to be a sacrifice and a vassal at the same time?!" Cain asks. "There has to be more to it than that!"

"Was there anyone else present, maybe someone who stood out?" Rocky asks.

"Just a blonde-haired man." The man replies.

"Lucifer." 049 growls.

Rocky steps forward, leaning against the table. "I only have only last question. What was the last date you remember?"

The man looks up at him. "The 7th of Nard, 15 GR."

Rocky looks at the old man. "He is not from our dimension."

The old man nods. "I have heard these words from other beings from alternate dimensions. It would seem our problems surpass even our small world."

Cain leans against a wall. "How do we solve that problem."

Dr. Therman smiles, looking behind them. Rocky turns to see 239 floating upside down with a sweet smile on her face.

"I might have an answer to that question!" She sings.

Rocky nods and turns back to the man. "By the way, do you have a name?"

The man smiles nervously. "My name.. is Seth."

Cain seems to come off the wall quickly but does not move further than that remaining silent.

The old man stands. "We will prepare a proper room for you, Seth. After that, all we ask is that you cooperate with our researchers."

Seth nods. "Sounds like a fair trade to me. I agree."

Cain escorts Seth out of the room as the others follow the old man and 239 to 343's room.

Cain glances at Seth as they walk. "How.. much of your memories remain from your old life?"

Seth seems disinterested in the question, remaining silent.

Once they reach his new room, Cain turns Seth and looks into his eyes. "I asked you a question!!"

Seth looks back at him, blankly. "I remember everything, big brother."

Cain frowns. "Am I going to have to worry about my friends with you around?"

Seth shakes his head. "I am sure Abel would have my ass if I caused any trouble. I just want to get some sleep."

Cain opens the door to Seth's cell, with a simple swipe of a card. "Be my guest then, but this conversation is not over."

"It is for me." Seth replies, stepping inside and closing the door slowly behind him.

Cain locks the door, turns, and walks away muttering to himself. "We will have to figure out his anomaly quickly."
