When we got to mum's room at the hospital the doctor gives us a sad look and waits until we're all in before opening his mouth. "I'm sorry but it's been 2 months and if we don't unplug her now then she'll be in unbearable pain soon." He explains. He gives us 2 hours to say our goodbyes before he unplugs her and we go home. I don't talk the whole way home and when we do get home I run to my room and lock the door. "Kayla it's Dad, can I come in?" He asks. I unlock the door and sit on my bed. He sits next to me and I cry into his chest. "Harri is going to stay with Sian seeing as she's Sian's adopted daughter and Ross has gone to Finn's so it's just us." He said. I nod and just sit and cry for hours.
