Derek POV.

I was getting Hope ready visit one of my bestest friends Scott we have been moving to place by place. To keep Hope save from the other wolf who is trying to hurt Hope I wanted to make sure she was warm and comfortable in the clothes. She always looks so cute of course she hardly even uses her pacifier not like she used to always so calm and friendly. Hope has Stiles wrapped around his finger and mine since me Hayley broke up she hasn't been here to see Hope in a long time but now that I'm falling in love with Stiles it's just how much we don't want to lose each other. Hope is very excited to be able to start walking and talking sometimes she chooses not to talk to others she doesn't know. But most of the time she only talks to me or Stiles but she sure is a sweetheart I just love those big blue eyes that smile never gets loud I can see her smile everyday for the rest of my life seeing her smile makes my day. I hate the fact that Hope is being hunted by a Alpha called Petter one of the worst alpha's ever dealt with. Even tho his not my Alpha his powerful strong and I'm not ready to even meet him because Hope knows when something is wrong. Holding Hope in my arms and Stiles behind me I heard something sounded like footsteps behind me I gave Stiles Hope I started growling. Asking who's out there I saw a black wolf, red eyes, at first didn't see who it was but then I saw the eyes it's my old friend Scott haven't seen him in two months. I didn't realize that it was Scott because his eyes before I left was yellow but then I guess someone made him the leader or his a true Alpha. Not sure on what kind of Alpha he is because Scott has been helping every single new wolf or needs help controlling it his always there with them. He met my daughter Hope she was just hungry or tired she has been grumpy all day she started to fall asleep while Stiles was holding her. I smiled kissing Hope's forehead when she smiles in her sleep I wonder what she's dreaming about😃. Scott looked at Stiles whispered something in his ear I didn't get to hear what it was but Stiles smiled. Scott looked at Hope asked me why I adopted her when I replied with will I didn't want her to live on her own there was something in Hope's eyes she looked so scared and she didn't want me to leave her there. So I just took her in don't know anything about Hope's parents but I've been protecting her since she was seven months old she's eleven months old now. When Scott asked me if Hope would like to be with a pack when she's older? I replied with I'm not leaving her side that's final she means the world to me and I'm going to be a better father then whoever left her alone. Maybe they did love her and I'm sure they did but She seemed so scared to be left alone. We finally got to a campsite Hope fell back asleep Scott kept watch.
