CUT TO: MIDTOWN

INT. MRS. WILLIS' HOUSE - MORNING

DRAY SITS IN THE KITCHEN WHILE MRS. WILLIS BANDAGES AND STITCHES HIS WOUNDS.

[Mrs. Willis]

Were you even trying to dodge in this last fight?

[Dray]

Of course, I was.

[Mrs. Willis]

Well, you need to get better at it. I don't see how you didn't die over the night.

[Shade]

Who would I be if I couldn't survive a few cuts?

[Mrs. Willis]

In much better shape.

THE SONG ON THE RADIO GOES OFF, A COUPLE OF COMMERCIALS PLAY AND THEN TYNICE BEGINS TO TALK AGAIN.

[Dray]

What? You listen to her?

[Mrs. Willis]

It's a good talk show and believe it or not, she doesn't just talk about you.

[Dray]

I find that hard to believe.

[Tynice]

(Over the radio)

Hey, y'all it's yo girl Tynice. I wanted to tell you about the destruction that was done to the Riverfront Park last night as a result of Shade's fight with one of his adversaries. And thanks to Shade's brainwashing of the public from what I've seen online only a few people are talking about what a disaster it all is.

[Dray]

Brainwashed?

[Mrs. Willis]

I'm sure it was for lack of better words.

[Tynice]

(Over the radio)

Now, I think it's time for a little segment I like to call the voice of the people. Call in and let me know what you think.

DRAY TAKES OUT HIS PHONE AND BEGINS TO LOOK UP TYNICE'S NUMBER.

[Mrs. Willis]

What are you doing?

[Dray]

I'm calling in. Give me a second, okay?

[Mrs. Willis]

I don't think that's a good idea.

[Dray]

It'll be fine.

WHILE DRAY LOOKS FOR THE NUMBER, THE FIRST CALLER BEGINS TO SPEAK.

[Tynice]

(Over the radio)

Alright, Sarah, you have the mic. Speak yo mind.

[Sarah]

(Over the radio)

Hey, Tynice. I really do believe that everything that has happened has gotten out of hand. Shade is a menace and I'll be happy when the police take him to jail where he belongs.

[Tynice]

(Over the radio)

You and me both. Okay on to the next caller, Mike. You have the mic, speak yo mind.

[Mike]

(Over the radio)

Hey, Tynice, I believe that a lot of people don't know what they're talking about. I was there last night, okay? Modus had 30 cops on him, the commissioner told Shade to stay out of it and when they moved in Modus started taking it to them. If Shade wasn't there, Modus would still be on the loose.
