Cover:

The cover looks like something one would find on a bookshelf. It has a very authentic feature. The way you represent both characters using the things they treasure is very creative. It made me want to find out who these people beyond their instruments were.

Blurb:

It reveals enough of their background for one to familiarise themselves with the main characters. It already establishes that both characters are going to fall for each other but I found myself questioning what exactly the moment was and its impact on their feelings.

It also made me wonder how their tragic pasts was going to play a role in their relationship and whether they were going to emerge stronger now they has each other.

Frankly, the blurb sparked enough questions for me have high expectations in the novel.

Plot:

The plot sheds more light on Presley's personality and the extent of her trauma from it. Insightful dialogue reveals more characters and where exactly they fit in the story. I commend your use of both Presley and Deon's point of view. It's nice to see the story from beyond one limited, biased side.

Grammar:

There are some typographical and grammatical errors which should definitely be looked at and corrected. And I think there can be more innovative ways for the characters to express themselves other than swearing most of the time.

Characters:

Maddy and Tyler are...well, a lot! In a hilarious way though. I'm excited to see what happens with Deon and Presley especially how the playboy persona Deon's trying to fight comes into play.

Generally,

I like where your novel is at so far. After some of these alterations, I can only see it getting better!
