Inspired by Fallout and 60 Seconds. The story of Joshua Howard, some 18 year old slag that had this journal throughout an entire nuclear apocalyptic city. He has only his strength, intelligence, and speed to go thru the wasteland. Trust me, I just love book writing.

A nuclear war has turned our earth into a toxic wastland, with deadly monsters that, with the help of radiation, have mutated into twisted horrible creatures only found in nightmares. The story starts in northern canada, where conditions, including the unbearable temperature, is much better to deal with. In a deep coniferous forest where smog covers the sun. Once, over one hundred years ago there was a deep snow covering the ground, and even a range of different kinds of animals. now only large gross beetles and cockroaches roam the forest. the further you travel to the equator, the more monsters there are, and the hotter the temperature gets.

Vault 97 was originally built in Blue Ridge Summit, Pennsylvania as a joint venture between the U.S. Government and VaultTech to be a second, miniature Pentagon outside of D.C. When the bombs dropped, however, VaultTech had other plans. Only 20 residents and 15 staff made it in, only one person made it out, and winter has arrived in full force.

After a major climate rollercoaster occured that began in 2087, livestock and vegetation has become scarce due to the severely bitter coldfronts. All of the animals are becoming endangered if not extinct already. Whatever animal that was endangered ten years ago is extinct now and the ones that are endangered now will reach their final destination soon. Many wars have broken out over food. Australia is now an inhabited wasteland, China has conquered half of Asia, and America's greety arrogance finally pays off. Many countries hate America more than ever. Tens of countries have now come together with enough force power to obliterate all of America in one hour with the power of explosions. Lots of explosions. The government has one more trick under their sleeves. Each state contains a high quality fallout shelter with as much luxury you can get in a bomb shelter. Only thing is; when you arrive into the shelter, it's not as Utopian as you'd expect

Nuclear bomb's are set off all over the United States. Olivia and Oliver, sixteen year old twins, are forced to seek shelter in their families fallout shelter and learn to live life in the apocalypse.
