After spending several months with the man who she had thought would be her knight in shining armor and moving out to Utah to start their life together, Kaylee had reluctantly come to find out that everything that they had was nothing more than a lie. Not that the feeling is new to her of course, so she wasn't quite sure why she was so certain that this was her last rodeo. So it didn't come as a surprise to her in the least to find herself walking into the closest dive bar that she could find, her smashed hopes and dreams of a beautiful future floating her through the door as she nestled herself in a corner seat and ordered her usual from the knowing bartender who placed the glass in front of her with a sympathetic smile. Drink away every memory of them together until he was nothing more than a figment to her imagination, something that he had proved her to be after finding him bedded with the next door neighbor. But what she wasn't expecting was to fall for a pair of bright blue eyes that seemed to be hiding a secret of their own as they glared at her from across the bar. Tonight was about forgetting and maybe just maybe he could be the one to help her forget. But would she be able to do it with no strings attached?
