Prologue

Gemma Anne Rose and Jax Hunter Beckett were childhood best friends.

When Jax moves away and then comes back Gemma realizes that she's in love with him.

Nevertheless, she lived a relatively normal life among other humans but was never really wanting to ask Jax questions or tell him that she knew.

When the two of them start dating and move in together, they could not be happier, other than the fact that this is not a normal relationship.

Jax is a werewolf. When Gemma gets hurt, Jax has to be brave... for both of them.
