Richard Rodgers just out of highschool is the top Quarterback in the nation, when a heartbreak causes him to decide on a different college he packs up and leaves for Stanford. While there he meets Kate, a shy but strong willed girl. After bonding and getting to know each other Rick questions himself if he's ready to open up his heart again.
