*This book is supposed to be an example of a comedic satire that is subtly trying to teach important life lessons* Cecile Braydon (The Protagonist): •16 year-old girl •Dense •Childish •Naïve •Fictional (And knows it) Cecile Braydon has been homeschooled all of her life, but she is 100% certain she is ready for her high school debut. She is so sure because she has a vast knowledge of high school norms gained from chic-lit, slice-of-life 'books'. Just like in those books, Cecile finds an uninterested sidekick, an innocent rival, and a quirky crush(?). Even with all this though, she's not as good of a heroine as she thinks she is. But don't fret, you beautiful faces! The story is in good hands despite her sidekick's harsh words! There may be some other naysayers along the way and some rather sticky situations Cecile somehow becomes entangled in, but nothing is going to bring this girl down from being the best protagonist ever. Come watch Cecile grow up in a tough place like high school, but growth is only made harder for her since this school is far from normal. She slowly learns life lessons with the help of an EXTREMELY colorful cast. It is not a one-sided deal though; the people around her surprisingly end up learning a thing or two in the end, despite Cecile having little to no useful knowledge to give. Hope you enjoy! "You're the protagonist of your own life." -Arataka Reigen Rated: PG - Cursing and cringey references sprinkled about. The 'F' word is never used. A homosexual relationship is depicted with a side character's parents.
