From what she's been told, they were killed by a vicious animal, there's a lot of speculation about what kind. Some say a wild dog, others say it was a larger animal, a wolf. Angeline never understood the death of her parents, that is until she meets William Devonshire. An Englishman who attends the same school who likes to keep his distance, he turns her life upside down when he reveals to her his world that she is more apart of than they both realise. A world that lies in the shadows of London.
