"So you're bringing your best friend over after afternoon practice?" Sugawara asked Kiyoko who nodded in response to her question.

"Yes, so please don't scare her off." She sighed softly with her statement mainly going towards Nishinoya and Tanaka.

"What do you mean "don't scare her off"? We're not scary!" Tanaka stated before he got a look from both Daichi and Suga. "You literally make faces at people to intimidate them." Daichi stated as he quirked an eyebrow up at Tanaka.

"That's different. I have nothing against anybody who is a friend of dear sweet Kiyoko." Tanaka said as an angelic look appeared on his face causing Suga to roll his eyes.

"She's shy around new people so please when I say this I mean it. Don't scare her off." Kiyoko said looking in between Noya and Tanaka.

"We won't!" Noya smiled at Kiyoko but little did he know what he would be in for when he met her.

"Hey guys!" Kiyoko greeted the volleyball team immediately having them acknowledge her presence when she walked in the gym in the afternoon.

"Kiyoko!" Tanaka and Noya shouted about to head straight for her before Daichi glared at the two causing them to settle down.

"So Kiyoko, who's your friend?" Ennoshita asked the black-haired third year which caused her to smile a bit.

"Guys this is my best friend, Y/N." Kiyoko introduced the H/L H/C haired girl who was shyly hiding behind Kiyoko as she peeked out looking at all the boys who stood in a line to give her a nice welcome.

"Welcome!" Said the group of boys as they bowed politely. Then they all stood up to introduce themselves. The girl then smiled shyly and waved at them before the introductions started and Noya couldn't help but find himself a bit attracted to the shy girl.

He found her shyness absolutely adorable and it just made her more interesting. 'Maybe I'll try to get to know her after practice!' Noya smiled to himself before hearing it was his turn to introduce himself.

"Hi! I'm Nishinoya Yuu! I'm the team's libero. It's mainly my job to keep the ball from hitting the ground! It's nice to meet you Y/N!"

"So what did you think of them?" Kiyoko asked Y/N while walking out of the locker room with her. "I'm not going to lie to you all of them are pretty cute. But the libero caught my eye." Y/N smirked a bit to herself as Kiyoko rolled her eyes playfully but smiled regardless.

"Don't play him Y/N." Kiyoko told her friend as she faked offense. "I wouldn't! How could you hurt me like that?!" Y/N whined pretending to be hurt causing Kiyoko to laugh a bit.

"Are you saying he caught your eye because you used to be a libero or because he's just unique?" Kiyoko asked her best friend causing her to think for a bit.

"I don't know. Probably both." Y/N shrugged and gave her answer. "But~ I could make a better libero than him that's for sure~" Y/N stated cockily not noticing that all the boys were still in the gym.

"Excuse me?" Noya asked turning his head so quick in Y/N's direction as soon as the words left her mouth.

Y/N's eyes widened in surprise, she didn't realize the boys were still there. "Don't shy away now. If you're so confident in your skills then tomorrow its gonna be me and you in a libero off." Noya challenged Y/N as he stepped up close to her.

"I-I'm sorry?" Y/N stuttered as she furrowed her eyebrows at Noya. "Are you challenging me?" She asked him staring straight into his soul. "Yes I am. And the winner of the challenge wins the title of best libero." Noya said standing proudly while looking at her.

Y/N laughed softly seeing how determined Nishinoya was. "Alright then. Challenge accepted."

"DANG IT!" Noya shouted refusing to believe the results of the challenge.

"Sorry Noya but the results are immaculate." Tanaka stated shrugging his shoulders. "When did you start using big words like those?" Sugawara asked the second-year. "I just heard Y/N using it during the match." Tanaka explained as he watched his libero friend groan from his defeat.

"Of course you did. The day you start using huge words is the day Kageyama will stop saying "Hinata Boke." Tsukishima said as he pushed his glasses further up the bridge of his nose.

"Well that's never gonna happen." Kageyama stated as he picked up a volleyball that flew across the gym during Y/N and Noya's little libero off as Hinata started to yell at him.

"Daichi and I kept track of the results and Y/N got you by 5 more receives." Sugawara sighed looking at the libero with pouted lips. Noya scoffed in response.

"You know what Y/N you might've beaten me this time...But next time I won't lose!" Noya shouted looking at her. "What makes you say that?" She cocked her head to the side looking at Karasuno's gaurdian diety.

"Cause anything you can do, I can do better." He declared smirking at her which caused a scoff to come from Y/N's lips.

"Give me an example." She requested looking into Noya's brown eyes. "I could be the better partner in a relationship." He stuck his tongue out at her childishly meanwhile Y/N furrowed her eyebrows at his words.

"Are you trying to imply something Nishinoya?" She asked the boy with wild bleached hair. And in response, he just grinned before saying,

"Will you go on a date with me Y/N? If it goes well we can go out and then we can see if I was right. But I promise you, that anything you can do I can do better."
