💫 trypophobia headcanons (ft. bokuto & kuroo) 💫

request: Can I request a scenario with bokuto (and maybe kuroo)? Where as the reader has trypophobia (fear of holes/ bumps) maybe she's looking through her social media and comes across a photo of holes? Like on someone's face and she freaks out?

a/n: this request actually happened to me. i triggered this fear in the bathroom just now trying to do a little bit of research. AND I DON'T KNOW IF YOUR PSYCHIC OR SOMETHING BUT I'VE ACTUALLY WAS LOOKING THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA BEFORE AND IT WAS ARTWORK OF TRYPOPHOBIA AND THE HOLES WERE ACTUALLY ON SOMEONE'S FACE. That artwork was so good and realistic that I screamed. But luckily, our girl Y/N has a boyfriend to comfort her unlike me--

scenario intro

- Y/N was minding her business cuddling with her boyfriend

- Her boyfriend was all comfortable and he had his head nuzzled into Y/N's neck as he spooned her

- He had a long day at practice so now he was all snug he could finally do what he wanted to do all day.

- Sleep(felt that)

- As he drifted off to sleep Y/N was just looking through her social media while messing with his hair.

- Y/N started to scroll through another post on her feed, yet she was still reading something from the previous post.

- So when she went to scroll to the next post, she got an unpleasant surprise.

- Somebody, who was working on a series of drawing phobias was currently in the process of drawing Y/N's phobia.

- And considering how talented the artist was, terrible for Y/N, the drawing looked realistic.

- And the drawing was a person, with holes all over their face.

kuroo

- because Y/N was alarmed by the sudden surprise, she screamed immediately awakening her boyfriend from his half asleep state

- "Y/N! ARE YOU OKAY?! DO I NEED TO FIGHT SOMEONE!"

- Kuroo immediately got into defense mode he was not playing

- His princess screamed and that's all he needed to hear

- Kuroo's like your personal first responder

- If you scream or shriek or show any sign that you're in danger, Kuroo is always the first one there.

- So when you screamed while he was already holding you, he held you even tighter

- So then when you threw your phone on Kuroo's side of the bed it was like he was a video game character

- i swear a question mark appears over his head

- In order to get the phone, his grip on you gets loose

- And immediately you turn in his arms and hug him tightly while nuzzling your head into his chest

- Luckily that tactic seemed to calm you down a bit

- Kuroo rubbed the bottom of your back gently as he picked up the phone.

- And when he saw what happened he immediately knew that your phobia had to have gotten triggered

- So in order to calm you down, Kuroo's immediately whispering to you

- "It's gonna be okay."

- "I'm right here."

- "I'm gonna make sure things like this don't pop up in your page again."

- And that's what he did

- He made sure the app knew that you weren't interested in those types of things considering your fear of them

- And as soon as he made sure it was gone he put your phone on the dresser and wrapped his arms back around your waist tightly as you nuzzled yourself into his chest.

- "Why don't you take a nap with me? I'll cuddle you as much as you want and then later we can watch your favorite movie while eating takeout and ice cream."

- Kuroo's the type of boyfriend that will love on you and dote on you to make you forget all about it. He'd let you know that you have nothing to worry about as long as he's by your side.

- And he's already made it very clear that he's never going to leave.

bokuto

- now this man right here.

- whole different story.

- a whole different volleyball game.

- He's not even in the same gym as Kuroo.

- As soon as you start screaming

- HE IMMEDIATELY STARTS SCREAMING

- YOU'RE LIKE "AHHHHH!!!"

- AND BOKUTO'S LIKE "aHhHhHhHhHhH!!!" AND HIS SCREAMING EVEN INTENSIFIES

- Three minutes after he's screams he's like

- "WHY ARE WE SCREAMING?!"

- You have tears in your eyes as you pass the phone to Bokuto

- You don't know if you're scared or happy he's screaming with you

- So Bokuto looks at your phone

- This man has never seen anything like it

- AND BECAUSE THIS IS BOKUTO

- HIS FIRST REFLEX IS TO CHUCK YOUR PHONE AT THE WALL

- You've told him about your phobia before, but he's never seen anything like it

- Like that

- Unlike Kuroo, he never did any research

- He didn't feel the need to

- He just figured he'd work it all out when you ever did freak out over your phobia.

- But he didn't expect for that moment to come like this

- While he was half-asleep

- And he didn't expect you to scream like that either–

- BUT WHEN BOKUTO THREW YOUR PHONE YOU COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT WHAT YOU JUST SAW

- now we all know our boy Bokuto is sWoLe

- THAT MAN IS PACKING

- So you might as well start singing "all around me are familiar faces" the second he threw it

- "BOKUTO WHAT THE HECK MY PHONE!"

- "IT SCARED ME!" He yelled back at you.

- So you got out the bed and picked up your phone

- Only to see the screen black and some glass from your phone on the floor.

- "Bokuto Kotaro I swear-"

- "I'll buy you a new phone. But right now I want cuddles in expense for scaring me like that."

- Bokuto's a big baby. But he's your big baby.

- Bokuto's the type of boyfriend that will scream and be scared with you. He'd scream louder than you and do something so irrational it completely causes you to forget what you were so freaked out about. So the tables have turned. He's scared, and your not.

- And so you end up getting in bed with him and you both cuddle the rest of the day awake relaxing together.
