a/n: no one requested this one but I love this song and it reminded me of Yamaguchi. So I decided to feed you Yam stans.

"God, I'm so tired..." Tadashi mumbled before turning his phone alarm down and getting out of bed and getting ready for school. As he brushed his teeth and attempted to fix his hair at the same time in the mirror, he remembered someone in particular that caused him to choke on his toothbrush.

Yamaguchi immediately pulled his toothbrush out of his mouth before spitting the toothpaste that was in his mouth in the sink. The someone he remembered, was named Y/N. She had the most gorgeous H/L H/C hair. The prettiest E/C eyes. And even her name itself just rolled off of Tadashi's tongue.

Every single time he thinks of her he feels like his heart's inside of his throat. He's never had a crush before. As a matter of fact, he's never been in love before. He was so used to being alone before he met Tsukishima and he was already convinced he was never gonna get married.

But that was all before he met, Y/N. Y/N flipped Tadashi's world upside down. She changed him enough for him to feel like he's been living his life asleep. The love he feels for her is so strong it just makes him feel so weak.

"Alright Tadashi let's hopefully had a good day." He muttered to himself as he stared into his freckled face in the mirror.

"Besides the dance couldn't be that bad, right?"

So maybe Yamaguchi was wrong. Like way wrong. He found out the hard way that you can't take the volleyball team anywhere that doesn't have anything to do with volleyball.

"This is so bad-" Tadashi said as he watched the choas surrounding him. Hinata spiked a cup that Kageyama threw at him into the punch bowl, Tsukishima was well...Being Tsukishima.

Asahi accidentally scared one of the girls on the dance committee who he was only trying to help. Suga and Daichi were just doing their job as captains of the volleyball team and keep everyone together.

Nishinoya rolling thundered over a table which ended in the table actually breaking and Tanaka was being his usual chaotic self and trying to get a dance out of Kiyoko.

Yamaguchi felt so out of place at the dance. Usually, during events like this he would just stay home and watch a movie by himself. But Daichi, Sugawara, Noya and Tanaka all told him that going to the dance would be fun.

Yet, now that he's at the dance, he wishes he never came at all. Or that was until he saw his crush in the only corner of the gym that wasn't filled with decorations. He looked in her eyes and took notice of how far away look she had in them.

She seemed so lonely.

Y/N sighed as she watched her ex-boyfriend dance with her ex-best friend on the dance floor absolutely ignoring the pure chaos caused by the volleyball team. It was just a month ago when she caught her ex-boyfriend making her out with her ex-best friend and after firing so many questions at the two individuals she found out that they were sneaking off together the whole time.
