Chapter 8
Cybrn Territory
Normal POV
The giants were far more stubborn than Zeddein had been taught.
And he had been taught a lot about them.
They were strong and fast, although not that fast but they made up for it with the amount of power they possessed and how much control they had over it and the casualties on his side was crawling up to 100 as the fight went on. He had come with the best of the soldiers he'd been assigned to lead as captain.
About 500 men infiltrated the small realm and about 300 went into the main city to take care of the civilians while the rest followed him to deal with the Cybryn army so that he could get rid of their king.Zeddein and his remaining men had succeeded in killing a handful of civilians and some soldiers and he had made to go for their king he before he got the wind knocked out of him by a sucker punch to his jaw, from nowhere in particular.
He whirled around sharply, holding his jaw with his left hand to face a giant whose aura reeked of raw power that was nearly up to that of his father.
The giant was handsome but the rage in his eyes nearly drowned out the blood lust in Zeddein's eyes and he almost, almost, swallowed at it."Why kill my men when you can just duel me for the loyalty of my dimension" the giant cocked a brow at the tri-brid, looking him up and down, and smirked.
"I was given specific orders" Zeddein growled and lunged at the giant, sword in hand and pulsing with lightning.
The giant merely side stepped and threw his head back in a laugh.
"Fight me. If you win, you do as you please but if not, you know very well what will follow next" the giant smirked.
"Fine. I won't lose to you" the boy growled and lunged again.
"This will be fun" the giant smirked and let out a battle cry before lunging for Zeddein as well.****************
The giant swung his Axe at Zeddein, who ducked to avoid getting his head taken by the Axe but in dodging, he got distracted and got an uppercut, and another punch in the stomach from a fist made of rocks.
He coughed up blood and wiped his mouth.
He had cuts running down his arms, bare chest and thighs.
His wings were pulled taught in preparation for flight attack. He was battered and bruised but he wasn't going to give up so easily.
"Doom bringer" he mentally called on his Axe and charged, full speed at the giant in the hope of knocking him down, turning his wings back to normal feathers and using them to double his speed.
If he managed to defeat their king, the people would be at his mercy to do with as he pleased but this king was by no means an easy fight.
The king laughed heartily and dodged the attacks of the little demon and banished his weapon to side step to get a grip on the boy's wings and flung him upwards.
The King stretched out his hands upwards and rocks shot up to form giant hands that encircled Zeddein and squeezed hard in a clap before flinging him down to the ground with enough force to leave a crater where he landed.Zeddein's body made contact face first with the ground hard enough for the onlookers to hear sickening cracks from his body, his eyes went wide.
Zeddein roared out in pain as his body not only had to deal with the shock, but also internal bleeding, bruises, cuts and virtually shattered bones.
He was fighting the urge not to cry and was forcing his body to undo the damage on his body but it was too broken to just heal. His wings were bent in an odd angle behind him, meaning that a few or all the sockets had either shifted or popped out and only his flesh was keeping them attached to his back.
He couldn't risk slipping them into his body because it would hurt him more.
He simply made do with lying there like a dead bean plant.***********************
The silver haired giant before him smirked at the bleeding and broken form of the tri-brid.
"Whoever trained you to destroy us didn't do a very good job at training you" the man shook his head in disappointment.
