Chapter 9
Cybryn Territory
Normal POV
The King sat on his mighty golden Throne, eyes closed in content as his wife braided his long locks.
"The tribrid is safely in our dungeon, my love. The Cybryn god will be very pleased" the man said, with pride in his eyes.
"You really have done well, my lord" his wife beamed at him, adding the finishing touches to his hair.
She looked at her king with nothing but adoration in her eyes and she was happy that the tri-brid that had been responsible for the fall of two dimensions was finally in custody and in restraints too, just waiting to be turned over to the gods to be gotten rid of.
Lord Blaze enjoyed the company of his beloved for a long while but their moment was interrupted by the shouts and screams of the people in his city below.Lord blaze shot up from his Throne in alarm while his wife looked puzzled and frightened.
The King walked over to the part of his Throne room that had a tall windows that ran from the ceiling to 6inches before they reached the marble flooring.
The queen followed suit and held back a gasp as she stared out the window with her husband. At the far corners of the dimension, as far as their excellent sight could reach, they saw walls of fire rapidly approaching the large city and reducing the forest in its path to nothing but smoke, ash and blackened soil.
Cybryn city was very large about a 100 acres of flat land and with another 25 acres of flattened mountains where the palace of the king was built into another large mountain.
The back of the palace was embedded into a man made gigantic cave while the front of the palace was built to protrude out of the cave and rest on the slightly flattened mountains that were also it's foundation.
Giant brown marble stairs ran up from the base of the mountain to the massive front doors of the giant castle.
The protectors were fierce and immensely powerful, due to their posts and duties.
They matched heights with their 8foot, nearly 9foot, tall king.
Rippling muscles and well trained as well.
The wore armor like medieval knights, except with more magical enhancements.
The stood at the far ends of Cybryn city with their respective magic circles around them as the put up a series of powerful protective barriers over the city. The King mind linked the commander of the protectors to access the situation.
'What's going on, Morn?'
The king asked.
'It's the tri-brid, my lord'
The commander mind linked back.
'What?! How?'
To say the king was shocked was an understatement.
'He somehow managed to remove the restraints on him and kill all the guards that were watching over him. He flashed from the dungeon and appeared in the forests at the edge of the realm and set it ablaze'
The commander explained.
The King gritted his teeth so hard that it was a wonder that they didn't shatter.
The queen knew better than to speak or touch Lord Blaze so she simply kept her distance and remained silent.'Forget about taking him to the gods. Kill him once you see him'
The king growled.
'It won't be so easy my lord'
The commander said.
'Why is that?'
The king asked, perplexed.
