Minho's P.O.V
Rain heaves down and soaks my t-shirt as the bleak sky empties its contents, the drops of rain disguising the tears that roll down my cheeks. Chan kneels next to me as I trace the carving of my lover's name that is engraved in the stone. "I miss you, Jisung," I whisper as my bottom lip trembles, "I miss you so much."
A hand grips onto my shoulder as I look around at anything but the headstone, my face contorting to keep from crying harder.
"It's okay, Min...you can let it out...no need to pretend to be strong." Chan speaks from beside me, his tone laced with concern.
"I don't want it to be over, hyung...I don't want him to be gone," I set my hands on the ground as if I can feel Jisung lying underneath of it.
"I know you don't want to accept that he left but...he's better up there than he ever would have been down here." He replies, slowly rubbing up and down my back. I nod and slowly look up at the sky, hoping he's watching me from wherever he is.
My eyes wander the colorless empty abyss of clouds as I speak again.
"They told me you were gone and I screamed. I wailed, I cried, and I screamed. As loud as I could. I halfway hoped that if you could hear me screaming on your way to heaven, you would turn around and come back to me. But you haven't come back yet and...I don't think you ever will." I sob as my tears blur my vision, hoping I'll hear his voice again or experience a fraction of a sign that he's still with me.
"Letting you go was the hardest thing I've ever had to do, Jisung. It hurt me more than anything I've ever experienced. You know the worst part? I thought I had nothing to lose....until I lost you."
I sniffle as the last portion of my sentence becomes almost inaudible, the raindrops continuing to blanket my skin and mix with my tears. "I love you, Han Jisung," I mumble, collapsing into Chan's arms. He wraps them around my body as I sob and wail into his chest, my heart wrenching and aching for the boy I loved more than anything.
"He loved you too." Chan says and I nod.
"Yes, he did. But, he didn't love himself. He saw himself as a bad guy, a guy who destroyed the good and ruined everything in his path. So, he forced himself to do just that. To ruin us, destroy what we had."
"Would you go back in time and do it all over again?"
"Yes."
Because as sick as it was, even if he chose to break me again, I would do anything to have him one more time. We both go silent for a few minutes. "Hyung," I finally speak and Chan looks at me.
"Yes, Minho?"
"I need you to do a favor for me..." I separate myself from his arms and look at him.
"What is it? I'll do anything you ask of me." I ponder on telling him before finally spitting it out.
"I need you to call my aunt and uncle for me. Let them know I'm coming to get my daughter."
"Where are they?"
"Daegu."

I pull up to the house and park the car, getting out and popping the trunk open for my daughter's bags. I walk up to the front of the house and knock briefly before the door opens.
"Ah, Minho...why have you come so late in the afternoon?" My aunt Hwayoung asks, her eyebrows furrowed.
"I came to get Maia, are her bags packed?" I reply and she nods.
"Yes, she should be out in a few minutes...your uncle will take her luggage to the car." I nod and walk inside, greeting my uncle on my way in.
"Uncle Juhyun." He nods in return.
"Minho...picking up Maia I presume?"
"Yes I am."
"Are you sure we should be giving our great niece up to a man who dated a serial killer?" Hwayoung smacks his shoulder.
"Juhyun, watch your tongue...he's her father, we can't keep her away from him forever." They continue bickering as a little girl comes running up to me excitedly.
"Appa!" She squeals as she flings her arms around my legs, hugging me tightly.
"Hey you," I smile as I pick her up, "are you ready to come home with me?" Maia nods and hugs me around the neck.
"I missed you, appa."
"I missed you more little one." I peck her cheek and she giggles cutely.
"Her bags are all in the trunk." Juhyun interrupts. I nod in return.
"Thank you both, I'll be taking her home now." I say my goodbyes and carry my little girl out to my car. Opening the door, I set her in her booster seat and buckle her in before getting in the driver's seat.
"Are you ready to go home, sweetheart?" I ask as I adjust the mirror so I can see her in the backseat.
"Yes appa, I'm ready." Maia answers happily, smiling at me. I smile back before driving away from the house.
"We have someone to go pick up before we head back home though."
"Who is it, dada?"
"Your baby brother." She gasps and looks at me with wide eyes.
"Baby brother?!" I chuckle at her reaction.
"Mhm...we're adopting him, he's only six months old."
"Oh so he's tiny tiny?"
"Yes, he is." I laugh and continue driving.
An old song starts to play on the radio and I reach for the dial to turn up the volume, singing along and driving as if Jisung were sitting next to me, screaming the lyrics out the car window....the only way I would want it to be.
