                              Minho's P.O.V
My office phone rings on my desk and I pick it up immediately. "Seoul Police Department, Detective Lee Minho speaking." I reply before the person on the other end laughs.
"Don't be so formal, it's just me hyung." Seungmin chuckles.
"What is it Minnie?" I ask.
"Mrs. Park is here and ready for questioning, I'm standing outside the interview room while Officer Seo gets her situated."
"Ah okay, I'll be right there." I respond before hanging up. I slip on my office ID and grab my notebook and pen before walking out of my office to the interviewing room. Seungmin greets me with a smile before we both walk inside, shutting the door behind us as our witness sits in her chair silently.
"Hello Mrs. Park, I'm Detective Lee, this is my partner Detective Kim and we'll be questioning you about the homicide you witnessed a few weeks ago. Detective Kim, can you start recording please?" I sit and wait for him to turn on the device that will record the entire interview. He turns it on and begins speaking.
"March 6, 2020 at 3:15 pm, Detective Lee Minho questioning Mrs. Park Hwayoung with Detective Kim Seungmin assisting. Detective Lee, you may proceed."
I nod curtly. "Mrs. Park, can you walk me through what you were doing a few minutes before the murder?"
"Of course. I was walking home from the supermarket as it's not that far from my house and I needed to grab a few things for this weekend's monthly dinner party with my daughter and grandchildren. It was around 7:00 pm, and I was walking on the sidewalk with my groceries when I heard screaming and the sounds of gunshots coming from an alleyway across the road. The screams sounded like a male's but then was followed by a different male's screams." I write everything she's saying down before asking another question.
"And did you ever see the murderer or any weapons that were used in the homicide?"
She nods. "Not long after the screams stopped, the murderer walked out of the alleyway quickly with what looked like a gun and a knife in their hand."
"Can you tell me what the killer looked like?"
"I couldn't see their face very well so I couldn't tell if they were male or female, and they were wearing a black face mask covering their nose and mouth with a navy blue hoodie that had the hood pulled over their head so their top half of their face and their hair were also covered. They were also wearing black ripped jeans and sneakers, I think." I nod and Seungmin and I write everything down.
"Anything else?" I ask. She pauses for a moment before answering.
"Actually yes, as soon as they left the alleyway, the killer smashed all of the security cameras around that area."
"Well how did they do that? The cameras are too high up for anyone to reach." Seungmin says, baffled.
"They seemed to have climbed up the poles or buildings and smashed the cameras with the handle on the gun." Mrs. Park replies. I sit back in my chair with a shocked expression.
"Whoever this is must have incredible agility and climbing skills. That's so odd to me." I say. They both nod. "I think that's all we have for now Mrs. Park, so you are excused to go home. Thank you for coming in today." I shake her hand. She nods before Seungmin ends the recording. She leaves the room and I stay behind with Seungmin, looking over the notes we took.
"There's no way that a human could have reached those cameras." He says, shaking his head.
"I'm just as shocked as you are, but we'll have to give all of these notes to the rest of the team and see if we can get any leads. You go ahead and give these to Officer Seo, I have to go home and get my apartment cleaned up for dinner on Saturday." I respond. Seungmin nods before I walk out of the room, going back to my office.
I gather my things and drive home, still baffled by the possibility of someone being able to reach the security cameras. I stumble into the apartment and flick the lights on, my cats coming to greet me at the door. "Yes, yes, I'm home early my loves." I coo as they pur and rub up against my legs. I set my things down and pet them briefly before going to my room to change. I change into a tshirt and sweatpants before going to the kitchen and pouring myself a glass of wine.
I sit down on the couch, sipping the wine and grabbing the picture that sits on my coffee table. "Happy 22nd birthday, angel...I hope heaven is treating you well." I whisper at the picture of my deceased fiance, a tear rolling down my cheek.
"I really shouldn't be crying but I've been trying to move on and fall in love with someone else like you would have wanted, I'm trying to be happy like you would have wanted but everything is just so hard...I'm trying not to fall in love with Jisung because I'm afraid I'll end up hurting him...but I can't help it, he's perfect just like you were...I don't know what to do." I sob and drink until I'm passed out on my couch from crying.

5:30 pm
I trudge into the house with my hoodie covered in blood again to see Hyunjin in the hallway packing boxes as I close the door.
"Jinnie...whatchu doing?" I ask as I take off my hoodie. He looks up.
"Didn't you see the post on the front of the door?" I shake my head.
"We're being evicted...we've been behind on paying rent for months and I know both you and I don't have enough money to pay it...they want us out by Sunday." He replies. I stand there in complete shock. I grew up in this house, I can't just leave it behind...although part of me wants to leave the place that also caused me so much trauma.
"Who are you moving in with then?" I ask.
"My aunt...she lives in Busan and said she was willing to take me in. You should move in with a relative too Sungie, perhaps your mom." Hyunjin answers while putting clothes in one of the boxes.
"Hyunjin I don't know where my mother even is, and frankly even if I did know I wouldn't want to see her because she left me with my father and that ruined my entire life." I storm past him into my room and slam my door. I collapse onto my bed and stare at the ceiling, not knowing what to do. Hyunjin knocks on the door.
"You could move in with Minho hyung..." He says. I scoff.
"Yeah, like he would ever let me do that."
"Jisung, if he likes you back like my gut tells me he does, he will be more than willing to let you move in with him. Just ask him. You can ask him on Saturday at dinner, and then pack your boxes when you come home and move in with him on Sunday." Hyunjin replies before walking away from the door.
"Yeah, whatever you say hyung..." I mumble. "It's your turn to do laundry!" I yell to him. He groans from the kitchen and I laugh before taking off my blood-soaked clothes and throwing them into the hallway for him.
"Thanks a lot, asshole." He chuckles.
                              "Anytime, drama queen." I laugh.
                              "Now go shower, you smell."
"Yes, hyungie~" I answer in aegyo and he rolls his eyes while I step into the bathroom to shower.
