Chapter 21

Minho's P.O.V.

"Jisung~" I say in a singsong voice as I hover over him, trying to wake him up. He groans and stays asleep before I start peppering his face in kisses. "Jisung my love, we have to get up...we're going to Jeju today." I remind him and his eyes flutter open excitedly. He smiles brightly up at me and I peck his lips.

"Go get a shower and get dressed. Our plane leaves at 7:50, so we'll get breakfast on the way." I kiss his cheeks before getting out of bed and putting our suitcases in the trunk of my car. I come back into the apartment and Jisung has just gotten out of the shower, drying his fluffy hair with a towel.

"Hurry up Sungie, we don't want to be late." I make sure my cats have enough food and things for the weekend while I wait for him.

"Who's going to watch Soonie, Doongie, and Dori while we're gone?" Jisung asks as he walks out fully dressed.

"Felix is coming to catsit...ready to go darling?" I reply and he nods. I grab the car keys while we slip our shoes on and I lock the front door as he gets in the car. I hop into the driver's seat and start the car before driving to the airport, grabbing some food for Jisung and I on the way.

"Better drink that hot chocolate quickly, we're almost to the airport." I warn my boyfriend and he nods before trying to drink it as quickly as he can manage. I pull into the parking lot and we get out hurriedly, grabbing our phones, tickets, and suitcases before going inside.

Once on the plane, Jisung sits comfortably near the window and I cross my legs while scrolling through my phone. "Minho..." He mumbles from beside me.

"Yes Ji?" I ask and turn to him.

"I'm still sleepy." He pouts cutely. I peck his lips with a chuckle before replying.

"The flight's only an hour and ten minutes, we'll be there in no time and you can take a nap once we get there okay? I promise." I kiss his forehead and he nods in response. What Jisung doesn't know is that I have lots of things planned today.

I'll make lunch while he takes a nap, and then we'll eat before we go swimming. I'll also make a romantic candlelit dinner that we can enjoy outside, and then hopefully we can end the night with something a bit risque followed by a relaxing bath together and some Netflix movies.

"Minho, what are you thinking about? You look like your mind is on something." Jisung interrupts my thoughts.

"Oh nothing...just thinking about how I'm making this weekend all about you." I smile and he blushes.

"I'm not used to such affection and attention but thank you..." He trails off and I kiss his cheek.

"Anything for my baby," I smile. Midflight, I remember the events that occured last night and my mind starts flooding with questions. Jisung's currently on his phone with his earbuds in, so I tap his shoulder and he takes a bud out before looking at me expectantly. "Jisung...who were those guys from last night?" I ask and he freezes instantly. He starts slightly shaking and his voice comes out hoarse.

"You mean the ones from the bathroom?...they've bothered me for years, they used to work for my dad and they've bullied me for as long as I've known them...we get into fights a lot." He replies and I nod.

"Okay...I'm really sorry if that brought back trauma, I just wanted to know." He nods in response and puts his earbud back in. So maybe he's not ready to do some things tonight, but that's okay. I can definitely wait until he's ready. He hums mindlessly to the music playing from his earbuds as he stares out the window, and I realize I am an extremely lucky human to have him.
