I got a darkness inside And it's talking to me I feel it rumble and writhe Like a hungry disease
"What's the news, Obi-Wan?" Anakin asked, Obi-Wan and Kayla displayed on a transmitter and Anakin could clearly see them look at each other uncomfortably before looking back at him.
: Jabba is giving us one rotation to rescue his son. If not.. : Obi-Wan began, Kayla looking to him once more. : Then we'll most likely die. : She finished, biting the inside of her cheek.
"Well, that's just...cruel." Ahsoka said, looking to Anakin from the Jedi on the transmitter. "Um, yeah..well, I guess we better hurry then."
: I'll meet up with you soon. I'm sending Kayla to meet up with you now while I negotiate terms with Jabba. She'll arrive within the hour. : Obi-Wan assured, Kayla looking at him with wide eyes.
"Alright. We'll be waiting for you, Kayla. Don't fall behind." Anakin replied with a smirk, Kayla looking at him with a twisted look before rolling her eyes. : Oh, don't you worry about me, Anakin. :
Their holograms disappeared and Ahsoka looked to Anakin, raising an eyebrow. "We don't have a lot of time, Master. Do you think Master Kenobi can do it?"
"Knowing Obi-Wan, he'll try his best. We just have to hope his best will be enough." ---
Abbey and I travelled through hyperspace really fast. It was like we just left Tatooine and we got to the Teth system in less than 5 minutes. As soon as we exited hyperspace, I saw a cruiser trying to take down a Separatist blockade.
"Oh, boy..guess Im gonna learn to fly today!" I exclaimed, grabbing hold of the steering gear and began avoiding shots that were being exchanged by the Separatists meant for the cruiser, but they missed. I was in such a panic that I didn't realize we made it through the blockade undetected until I heard a beeping sound.
My attention was brought back to the present and I saw that we had entered the planet's atmosphere and I sighed in relief, smiling nervously at Abbey just as she turned her helm around to look at me. "Sorry, I was in a panic."
Abbey beeped, assuring me I did great and I nodded. "Thanks, Abbey. Listen, I need you to drop me off as close to the monastery as you can. We can't be detected by the droids."
Abbey beeped, taking control of the fighter again and I sighed, leaning back as I did. Out of nowhere, I jolted forward, hissing in pain as I felt a sharp pain in my head. I don't know why, but I suddenly went cold and anger waved over me for a second.
Abbey beeped frantically upon seeing my little episode and I shook my head while grabbing it. "Im okay, Abbey. I just...there's someone else at the monastery, not just the droids. And its not who I think either."
Abbey beeped in confusion, making me look at her with furrowed eyebrows. "I don't know who. But I need to find out. Drop ne off over there." I said, pointing out an open area big enough for her to drop me off at and had enough cover to not be detected by the droids at the monastery. When she got close enough to the ground, I jumped out of the fighter, whipping out my hilts and looking back at Abbey.
