Yeah, I guess I'm a disappointment
Doing everything I can
I don't wanna make you disappointed

"What do we do with the girl, sir?" Rex asked, walking with Anakin back to the interrogation room. "The Council said to contain her until Obi-Wan gets here. So that's what we'll do."

"Do you think she's lying about being a Separatist?"

"I'm honestly not sure at all, Rex. I want to believe she isn't, but we've been played before. I don't want to take any ris-What the hell?" Anakin looked away from Rex, seeing Kayla lifted off the ground, struggling to breathe, as if someone was choking her. "Rex! Help me get her down!"

Anakin and Rex both ran to her side, but before they could get her down, she dropped to the ground, coughing violently and gulping for air.  "You alright? Hey!"

"Uh..I'm...uh..fine." She replied, holding her neck and clearing her throat. "You were being force choked. Was it a Sith?"

"I'm....not..sure. It would....have...had to been. How?....I don't...know..." Kayla mumbled, Anakin and Rex looking at each other. "Okay, we'll figure it out. General Obi-Wan Kenobi is on his way here. So, just hang tight."

"Okay..." Anakin nodded before himself and Rex walked towards the laser doors. "Rex, I need you to watch after her for a second."

"S-Sir..with all due respect, I didn't come to babysit." Rex replied, Anakin raising an eyebrow. "She doesn't even look that younger than me. Besides, it'll just be this one time. Trust me."

Rex looked at Kayla, seeing her with her head down on the table and her body shaking, as if she was crying at the moment, and sighed before nodding. "Sir. Yes, sir."

"Thank you, Rex. I'll be back." Anakin walked out of the interrogation room, leaving Rex to stand uncomfortably near the door.
----

I lifted my head and saw Rex was standing by the door, looking anxiously outside as if he was ready to leave.

"You know, its okay for you can sit down." I mumbled, watching as Rex looked at me and then looked away, completely ignoring my request. I sighed, looking down at my hands. "You know, when I saw that portal in my room, I thought of all the possibilities that I would end up here. I thought about all the cool things I would go through while I'm here. But...after what happened, I...I think I want to go back home."

I looked back up, seeing Rex slowly turn his head towards me. "Sorry to disappoint. Not everything's a fairytale, kid." My heart sunk a bit at how blunt he was being, but I also had to remember that I was a stranger who just appeared out of nowhere. Who wouldn't be suspicious about this? And also, I must have came through the portal a bit earlier in the show because Rex seems more tense and firm than usual.

"Its not that I'm disappointed..its just..I knew I would have to prepare myself for some hardship." I replied, Rex tightening his eyebrows. "How do you know so much?"

"Where I'm from, you guys are 'fairytales', basically." I said, crossing my arms and leaning against the chair. Rex scoffed softly, and I knew he found that hard to believe. But, what else could I say? Hey, Im a girl from a different universe and I know all about you guys because where I'm from, you're a TV show!

I sound crazy!

: Rex, bring the girl to the main hangar. Obi-Wan's just arrived. : I heard from Rex's commlink and he gestured for me to come with him. I quickly got up from the table, following him as he led me out of the interrogation room and down the hallway toward the main hangar.

When we arrived shortly after, I kept myself together as I spotted Anakin talking to Obi-Wan and Cody. I didn't want to go all fangirl over the fact that Obi-Wan and Cody were here right before my eyes, but it was irresistible not to. Luckily, I did it internally and not out loud or all hell would have broke loose.

"So, you must be the young lady starting all the fussing around here?" Obi-Wan said while I subconsciously nodded my head, my mind in a daze at the moment. "I see. And I hear from Anakin that your mind is..powerful?"

"I...guess so. I don't know." I admitted looking to Anakin then back at Obi-Wan. "Well, unless you're hiding something, we need your full cooperation."

"As I've told Anakin, I have nothing to hide." I replied, Obi-Wan looking to Anakin. "Then we should do this in a more private and destinated area. No distractions if we're to do this."

"The training room is about as private as it gets." Anakin replied. "Alright, training room it is."
