You can be a Master, don't wait for luck,
Dedicate yourself and you cam find yourself standing in the Hall of Fame,The cruiser entered Corucsant's atmosphere about an hour later, long enough for me to have taken a nap and rest myself because I knew I had work to do.
I left my room, grabbing the bag with my hoodie and shorts in it and walked around, trying to find the main hangar. I felt this weird vibe at first, like I sensed someone familiar, but I didn't question it further and I eventually found the hangar from earlier when I was led to the interrogation room.
I saw Obi-Wan, Anakin, Rex, and Cody in there, helping the men move some supplies around. At the moment, Anakin and Rex weren't doing anything, so I went over to them. "Hey. I guess we made it to Corucsant?"
"Yep. Nervous?" Anakin asked, he must have known about the meeting with the Jedi Council. "A little. I've never trained a day ij my life. But I'm ready for what I got to do."
"Good! Keep that attitude and you'll be a Padawan in no time." Anakin assured, patting my arm and walking away to help with the supplies. "Well, you won't be seeing me for a bit, Captain."
"No, I won't..but at least when I do see you again, you'll be a Padawan." Rex replied, myself nodding with a smile. "Yeah. Well, wish me good luck."
"There's no such thing as luck, right?" Rex asked. That cheeky bastar-. "Hey, its only a thing if its good luck." I replied, holding up my index finger. Rex shook his head, probably laughing at me on the inside. I mean, its true! Am I wrong?! Or am I wrong?!?
"Kayla, come with me. They're ready to see you." I heard, looking away from Rex and saw Obi-Wan gesturing for me to come with him. "I better go. I'll see you around, Rex." I farewelled, waving slightly.
"You too, kid." I nodded before running off to catch up with Obi-Wan.
---"Do you think I can do this, Obi-Wan?" I asked when we entered the hallway of the Jedi Temple from the hangar bay. I looked around seeing other Padawans and other Jedi Masters. I wondered if I would get there soon. I probably will if I train hard enough.
As we were walking towards the Council room, I think that's where we were headed, I felt someone bump into me and I quickly turned around seeing a familiar face abd hearing a sincere apology flow from her mouth.
"I am so sorry! I didn't know where I was going!" I couldn't believe who I saw. It was Ahsoka! The Ahsoka Tano, right before my very eyes! Well, the younger version, of course.
"That's fine, young one. Off you go." Obi-Wan said, kindly dismissing the girl and she nodded, running off. "Ahsoka..?" I mumbled, still not believing my eyes, but I quickly turned away, walking again alongside Obi-Wan.
Little did I know, she turned around upon me calling her name.
She may be weirded out by me knowing her name, but what she doesn't know is that she'll know why soon. Maybe even sooner than we both think.
----I didn't stop. I didn't stop until I took them all down. Droids came at me left and right and I looked around, noticing they surrounded me.
"S-Surrender, Jedi!" One of the droids, myself laughing slightly at its stuttering. "Okay, its now or never.." I mumbled, holding my training sticks in hand. Yes, I've trained to wield a lightsaber, but I found this easier. With one spin, I whipped the sticks around, watching as the droids dissolved into thin air. Almost like smoke.
I panted heavily, wiping my forehead before quickly shouting, "Okay, Abbey! Stop the simulation!"
The regular brown coated walls of the training room appeared in my view and I exhaled loudly, heading straight for the observation room where I saw my astromech, R4-AB, or Abbey, wheeling towards me with a towel on her helm. "Abbey..we've been over this. You don't have to bring me a towel every time I'm done training."
Abbey beeped out stubbornly, saying that if she wants to do something, she'll do it and can nobody stop her. I laughed hysterically at this, shaking my head and taking the towel, patting her helm along the way. "Okay! Okay, fine! I won't stop you! Anyway, I'm suppose to be getting a new Master today. Isn't that exciting?!"
Abbey beeped again, saying how she hopes its either Plo Koon or Obi-Wan because they both are really nice and they would make great teachers. "Yeah. I'll have to agree with you on that. But I'm sure any other Jedi Master who I'm assigned to will make a great teacher, too."
"That's kind of you to say, little one." We both heard. I looked from Abbey to see Plo Koon enter the observation room and quickly fixed my posture when I did. I had been lounged against a table nearby, so thats why. "Master Plo! Its..uh..good to see you again." I stammered, shaking his hand when he approached.
"And you as well. You're improving in combat skills. I'm impressed." He said, making me smile brightly at him. "Thank you. I just..want to do better, that's all. I just don't want to fail anybody."
"And I understand. But the important thing isn't to impress someone else, but to improve yourself. Do YOU think you can do this? Remember that." I nodded, I always found Plo Koon to be the wisest Jedi, aside from Yoda. And it always made me happy when I saw Plo because he's such a Dad. Especially to Ahsoka and the Wolfpack.
Speaking of Ahsoka;
"You may want to change, Kayla..you'll be traveling with Ahsoka to Christophisis, not only to deliver supplies, but to meet your Masters." He said, making my eyebrows rise inhumanly. "My Master..is.. Master Obi-Wan?"
Plo Koon nodded, and I felt a bit hurt only because it would have been cool to have Plo Koon as my Master. But, it went away quickly because I liked Obi-Wan, too. He was really understanding, he was patient with me. I think he would be really great with me.
"Okay, I'll get changed right away. Where should I meet Ahsoka?" I asked, grabbing my towel and throwing it around my neck. "In the hangar bay. You'll find Captain Felix waiting with a transport ship."
"Okay, Captain Felix...I'll remember that. Thank you, Master."
