Sweet dreams are
made of this,
Who am I to disagree?"Woah..your training room is huge." I mumbled as myself, Obi-Wan and Anakin entered in. Cody and Rex were off to the side so they wouldn't distract their Generals, probably.
The three of us sat down in the middle of the room and I shifted my eyes uncomfortably around, wondering what they were about to do. "You seem anxious.." I heard Obi-Wan say as I looked back at him, seeing a suspicious look on his face.
"I'm just nervous..not about cooperating, but how this is going to go." I admitted, fiddling with my thumbs. "There's nothing to worry about. Just as long as you work with us, then everything will be fine."
I was a little surprised at how gentle Obi-Wan was being, even though I was a stranger and I could possibly be a threat to everyone in the room. But I had let it go, seeing both Anakin and Obi-Wan close their eyes and I did too, not knowing what else to do.
"I need you to clear your mind, young one. Clear your mind of all worry and allow us to see into your mind." I heard Obi-Wan say, nodding in acknowledgement before clearing my head, allowing my fear, excitement, and worry to all flow out of me like a river. I felt the same pressure in my head as before, but it was a little more intense this time. I groaned slightly, squeezing my eyes shut as I felt a slight headache develop.
"You have a powerful mind for someone who came through a portal." I heard Obi-Wan say, furrowing my eyebrows as I did. However, it didn't long before I felt a tap on my shoulder and opened my eyes to see Anakin and Obi-Wan had already stood up. But why didn't they say anything?
"Um..what happened? Did-Did you find what you're looking for?" I asked while getting up to my feet as well. "We did and more.." Anakin replied, pointing to the ceiling. I looked up seeing Anakin and Obi-Wan's lightsabers floating above us, their blades ignited and my eyes went wide.
"Um..did I do that?" I asked, staring curiously at the floating two lightsabers. "Apparently so. I've never encountered a youngling with as powerful of a mind as you."
"I didn't even know my mind was powerful at all. Sometimes I'm a bit of a nut in the head." I joked, poking at my temple. Obi-Wan rose an eyebrow while Anakin turned away, knowing I perfectly heard him snort. Yeah, I caught you, Ani.
"This is a serious situation, Kayla. If you allow any of your emotions to cloud your judgement, you could turn dark side and we cannot help you once you do." Obi-Wan warned, making shivers run down my body at the thought of the dark side. "Well, what..can I do? So I don't go dark side."
"Well, since you're telling the truth of who you are and what we discovered, we have no choice but to train you."
"Woah, woah, woah. Isn't that pushing it a bit, Obi-Wan?" Anakin intervened. "Anakin, if we don't, the Sith will do everything in their power to manipulate her and use her for their personal game. With a powerful mind as hers, its better to have her on the right path." Obi-Wan replied, myself watching the two go back and forth. God, it was like watching Doug and Carrie from King of Queens going at each other's throats, but without the comedy.
I looked back at the lightsabers, watching as they both fell at me, each one retracting its blade as it came to my hands. "Um..if you two are done fighting like an old married couple, I just want to return these." I said, holding both Obi-Wan and Anakin's lightsaber out for them to grab.
"Uh...thanks." Anakin and Obi-Wan grabbed their hilts, clipping it to their belts before I heard Anakin sigh in annoyance. "Well, what should we do first, since WE'RE training her?"
"We need to start with mediation. She needs to form a connection with the force. It will guide her through her training." Obi-Wan replied, stroking his beard. "I know I'm starting really late in training, Obi-Wan, but I'm ready to do what I have to do."
"Good. I admire your confidence, Kayla. We will begin tomorrow. You may want to get some rest, you've had a very long day." I nodded, Anakin excusing himself as he went to organize things with Rex and Cody.
"Are you alright?" Obi-Wan asked, myself quickly shaking my head. "I wish I was, but, I get this feeling that I will have to do a lot more than train tomorrow. I know how to use a lightsaber, but I had a plastic one back where I'm from. A real one will cut everything off me. My leg, my arm, a piece of my head! I don't know, its just going to be a lot to handle." I expressed, hanging my head.
"Don't worry about lightsaber training yet, Kayla. You have a long way to go before you get there." Obi-Wan chuckled out, patting my shoulder. "I hope so. But thank you. For taking me in."
"Of course. But I do have to warn you. We were wary of you earlier because there was a young man that showed up here. He claimed that he came from another universe to. But he fooled us into believing that he was just an innocent boy. Really, he was a trickster. An evil one. We never meant to make you feel scared if you were."
"I wasn't. I just..wanted you to have your truth even though I had mine."
