A few days later the hospital released me. Aria decided to celebrate so she was taking us out. When we were at a stop light i decided to tell her.
She was humming her favorite song Running by This Century when i said "Aria i have to tell you something"
"What's up?"
I took a deep breath and said "The reason Robert hurt me intentionally was because we knew eachother before. We used to fight in the same club, yes i fight and so does he. One night our boss set us to fight eachother and we gladly accepted. I beat him which embarresed him in front of all his friends and sponsers. He and his gang attacked me which was why i was in the hospital for a month last year."
"WHAT?!!?!" She yelled slamming the brakes right when were in the middle of the intersection.
A semi truck came rushing toward us and swerved to the left, missing us by inches. A red toyota honks his horn gives us the finger. A terrible scene is caused behind us when Aria slams on the gas and races us out of there.
"ARIA ARE YOU TRYING TO GET US KILLED?!?!!?"
She ignored my question completely and yelled back "WHAT THE HELL BROOKE?!?!? YOU FIGHT?!?!? AND YOU FOUGHT ROBERT AND ALMOST GET YOURSELF KILLED!!!!"
"Calm down Aria, just let me explain!"
She parks in front of our favorite chinese resturaunt and storms inside.
I sigh and follow her in. When we take our seats and order she says "Explain."
I look into her eyes, totally serious. "I explained everything clearly. One more thing..... i have to train you and make you a fighter just in case Robert comes after you."
Her eyes go wide "WHAT?!?! ME?! WHY ME?! WHAT IF HE MURDERS ME?!?!"
I shush her and say "He knows i'll do anything to keep you safe. I'd risk my life to save yours."
Her eyes show fear and innocence "I dont know how to fight though Brooke."
I give her a reasuring smile "That's where i come in, i'll train you and make sure you can fight him off. He wont be expecting it, and i beat him before so i know his weaknesess."
Her hands shake on the table but she trys to mask her fear. I'm proud of her trying to act brave.
Her innocent green and hazel eyes look into my brown ones and she says "I hope so Brooke, I'm countin on you."
Those words bring pain to my chest and i vow to myself i wont let anyone hurt her. Even if it means giving my life.
