No No No NO!!! This cant be happening!!!
I felt tears welling up in my eyes, my throat started to tighten.
Shane looked down at me. Worry and confusion written on his face.
"Brooke? What's wrong? This is what i wanted to talk to you about. This purple wristband will help keep the gangs away from you and me forever. We can finally live in peace. Just let me explain it to you." Shane said
I shook my head. Tears were running down my face.
"I already know everything Shane." I whispered and i slowly lifted my sleave from wrist, exposing the purple band that was there matching his perfectly.
I was sobbing now. Shaking so badly and i couldnt stop.
Shanes face registered anger, sadness, worry, and confusion. I was gasping for air.
"Brookelle.. please tell me you didnt accept the deal?"Shane said looking straight at my tear stained face
I shook my head, a new rainstorm of tears forming. I backed away slowly... "I love you Shane."
He reached out for me but i ran back to my car. I punched the gas heading straight for Ivans club.
Shane's P.O.V.
Ooh no.
Brookelle is the one i'm fighting til death. She is the one i will have to kill in the arena.
Ivan was playing us the whole time. Part of a game.
He wanted us to figure out on our own that we were going to fight.
I dont know what to do.
Brookelle's P.O.V.
When i got to the club i went went straight to Ivan pinning him against the wall.
"WHY?! Ivan why are you making me fight the guy i love?! Why do you want me miserable?!?!!?" I screamed at him
He chuckled "I see you figured out who you'll be fighting."
"Dont you play these damn games with me! I'm not fighting Shane." I said getting into his face
"We made a deal Brookie. If you break it, I'll kill you and your boyfriend myself." He said smiling
I let my arms fall to my side I'm Hopeless "Why Ivan? We used to live in the same house! We have the same mother! Why are you so against me being happy?!"
He looked me straight in the eye "Well Brookie, because the only time i want you happy is with me. And since i cant have you.... nobody can." He said with dead seriousness in his eyes as he walked away.
